I am a 5s owner, and I just held a 5c at my local Apple Store this weekend. I do actually like the way it feels in my hands. I'm in no way selling my 5s for a 5c, but it has that feel of the 3G/3Gs.

I wish Apple made an iPhone 5c with black front and black, and one with a white front and back, or color match the front color to the back.

iPhone 5S user...I like the 5C, now that I felt it

Maybe it's just me...once there is a mark on the casing, there's no going back really. And nobody puts a 5C in a case...that defeats the purpose of a 5C

I have my iPhone 5c just in a bumper case. I just like having the lay on table design of my case, so when I have my iPhone on the table and I'm using it, it dosent slide all over the place.

both are great iphones ! but ... the touch id is so convinient that i can;t imagine going back :)...
super fast and accurate. how can you beat of having the phone unlock even before it look at it ( fromt your jeans pocket to your face ).

beyond the touch id and pretty good camera...everythering else is for the techies and nerds..

Yeah, there has been many debates and threads on this. Specially iPodJedi's thread. Thought I'd come back and tell you all what I thought about the 5C.

I wasn't really fond of the 5C when it came out...but I like it a lot more now that I see it.

I use the 5S as my daily iphone. I buy/fix/sell iPhones and I recently got a couple 5C's in. To tell you the truth, they feel awesome. Unlike the cheap 3GS type crap, the 5C is extremely smooth, and hard to scratch or break. Only downside is the white 5C, which shows any mark you make on it.

So, redemption, I admit, the 5C is pretty cool. I really like them in the color blue and green as well.

Please no debating or griping about the 5S vs 5C garbage. They're both iphones, just exterior differences....and slight features are different.

Yes, I like the 5S, I like the 5C. Self contridiction? I think not.

Hey thanks for the little shout out in your opening post!!!

I love my 5c and I think it feels amazing and is definitely higher quality than Samsung plastic phones! The fact that it ways slightly more than a 5/5S makes it really feel like a premium or flagship device and the curved edges make it comfortably fit right into the palm of your hand! The glossy surface and fantastic colors make it look sleek and stylish and I love that it has a black screen (I'm not very attracted to white iPhones or the white screens on the iPod touch 5). I really think it feels much better than a 5 or 5S in hand because those sharp boxy edges on just don't feel very naturally when you grip it. Aside from it being plastic I think one of the major reasons people don't like the 5C is because it's last years tech. I believe if Apple had released the 5C at the same time as the 5, people wouldn't complain about it as much and it would be more popular.

Overall, it's a great device and I totally recommend the 5C to anyone!

Again thanks for the mini shout out!

I don't like the 5c because Apple chose to replace the iPhone 5 with it and keep the 4s instead of replacing the 4s with the 5 and bringing out the 5s. Considering that Apple had history with doing this (can you physically tell the difference between a 4 and a 4s just by looking at the two?) it's what I was expecting. I was not expecting to have bought a model of iPhone that was only in production for one year while the 4s which had been around for much longer and a model of iPhone that I hate was kept around.

Bitter. Yes. Childish. Yes. But that's my main reason for not liking the 5c. The rest, plastic, colors I don't care for etc are secondary. And all of this is just my opinion and does not prejudice me against 4s and 5c owners.

As I've said in other threads though, I understood why Apple did it. And both the 4s and the 5c are still great iPhones. They are just iPhones I don't care for.

I did the same for a white 32GB 5C and I am so glad I did!

4S as well? got this iphone 5C for 500 dollars (craigslist) 32GB white as well so We have same phone LOL

and sold my iphone 4S 16GB pristine for 175 (craigslist as well) so that gave Me a little back for The 5C LOL

I just got myself a second 5c. My carrier wouldn't unlock my blue one, so I went and bought a white one. I still like my blue one as it's my first iPhone.

I hope they'll make a 6c with 5s specs later on this year. If not, I think this will be the first time I keep one model of phone longer than 6 months.

I've had both 5c and now 5s, and I like the S!
The C was cool colorful and shiny. But after scuffs swirl marks, key marks. I became super annoyed. I tried cases before the marks but the phone felt heavy. Also after the first ceaseless drop (2ft) the phone looked horrid. The Corner bent in chipping more daily

For a lot of people that's actually one of the benefits, that basically there's less need for a case with a 5C vs. 5S or a 5.

That is ultimately what it came down to for me. Caseless, no worries.

You can argue that the tech specs are inferior, but there really isn't that much practical difference. Especially so with iPhone 6 looming.
