if you don't like beta software stay away from beta software ;) The costumers they serve don't run betas. Deal w. it or downgrade to iOS 7, don't blame the devs for your impatience.

Developers are not allowed to submit apps ready for iOS8 until the keynote on september 9th when the GM releases..

Very stable. It was slow at first when I updated to beta 5, but after resetting all setting, it's as smooth as 7.1.2, maybe even a little faster.

The 5S still has a couple of nasty bugs with exchange accounts (exchange 2010/2013/O365) in terms of reoccuring calendar events showing up twice, canceled calendar events not being removed, and accepted calendar events still showing as pending. These clear up if you go into settings and turn off the calendar and then turn it back on.

Just curious, are you using Siri/dictation in iOS or some other voice recognition software (or something else entirely different)?

You're spamming the forum. No one needs to be a mod to tell you that your posting style is highly irritating and unnecessary. Why couldn't you ask, "How is iOS 8 on iPhone 4S through to 5S"?

    It's not rocket science.

No, there are not hundreds of posters who do the same thing, otherwise the place would be full of identical threads. A discussion about performance on all compatible iPhone models in the same thread is more than sufficient.

One thread per model is flooding.

They can't sub apps that use ios8 api's. They can fix bugs though that crop up due to ios8 though.

No, there aren't. Nice try though. If you really are using Siri to dictate your posts, Siri is pretty bad lol.

I updated but went back to 7.1.2 due to the location icon always being on. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this? I turned off location for the apps that were using it but it stayed on but just switched to an outline of the location icon.

Please, considering multiple people have provided genuinely helpful responses to the original question, and your comments are the only ones deviating from the purpose of the thread offering little to no value, it would appear that you're the one spamming...

But in short, if you don't like what you read, move on to the next thread. Simples.

I'm not the only one who has said it, but the bottom line is that if you want proper opinions of iOS 8 on the iPhone 5s wait until either the GM is out and people have the final build early, or it launches to the public a week later and you can view videos and proper hands on reviews.

Does iOS 8 on the 5s feel slower at all compared to iOS 7, or does it feel the same/faster? I remember using iOS 4 on my iPhone 4; when iOS 5 came out, it didn't really slow my iPhone down, but iOS 6 definitely slowed the 4 down.

When I got the 5, iOS 6 was blazing fast; iOS 7 was not too bad.

5s came with iOS 7, my 5s on 7.1.2 works and feels fast, but am worried that Apple will 'degrade' performance with iOS 8.
