iPhone 6/6 Plus Color Choice?

Is the material used in the back of i6 same with 5 and 5S?

I'm a 3 years' 4S white user and I think I'll get space grey because the bezel-less piano black look while the screen is turned off looks great IMO.

Yes this happens every time to me. The pictures make the grey look better but in person I find the silver looks better. This time may be the exception but I thought the 5s was an exception and it wasn't.
 
I miss the black of the iPhone 5. Space grey is my choice. but only because I don't like a white front- they look nice, just not my taste.

According to iMore.com Apple moved away from the black due to it being easier to scratch and black is the hardest color to anodize. Yet, firearms have black anodizing over aluminum - Type III Hard Anodizing- and it holds up well. I really wish Apple would bring it back.

I've had the space grey and silver before (multiple times). I wanna try the gold I'm just afraid it'll look tacky in person.
 
Space grey for me, always had black/space grey iPhones and won't change now, the White fronts still have the black square visible between bezel and screen, that annoys me.

I've got a gold 5s and I love it but the gold is just a bit too much for me on the 6. I think I'll go with silver even though I really like the space grey, but I'd just be worried that it will get scratched up like previous ones and the white front just feels a bit 'fresher' to me.
 
I usually get the black but am tempted with the white with maybe a nice dark blue case.
 
I was leaning towards silver but I've had that for the last three iPhone generations already so I am probably going for gold this time around for the iPhone 6. I don't like the black one at all, you can't even make out the touchid ring on the front and too many finger prints visible. Also it gets too hot in the sun for obvious reasons so gold it is
 
I wanted black but got silver in the end. My reason - It's 10 years since I got my first Apple products (iPod). So I wanted to get a device with a silver back and white front to commemorate.A good enough reason for me.
 
Was set to get the space gray. Ended up sticking with gold moving from gold 5S to gold iP6+.
 
6+64 Silver, only reason was at the time it had the best ship date but now I think SG is shipping quicker. Mine is going in a LP case if I ever get it so color isn't important.
 
Previously had a gold 5S. Initially bought a space grey 6, didn't like the black front, so I returned it for a gold version. Much prefer the gold from the 5S - the iPhone 6 Gold looks bad in my eyes - the shade is too dark, not half as pretty as the champagne gold of the 5S. So I returned that and got a Silver version - which I love and am going to stick with. Just glad I didn't buy a Gold iPad Air 2 - got the silver version of that too.

Though my iphone 6plus is gold, I have to admit the gray one looks better. The issue with the gray one is that the screen is just a fingerprint collector.
 
Usually go for white faced phones but I don't really like the way the gold looks on the 6 so I went for Space Gray this time. I like the way the screen seemingly blends in with the bezel. Only thing is that I wish Apple would offer a true black color phone like they did with the 5.
 
My 3g, 4s and 5s have all been black/space gray. I went with the gold 6 plus and loving the white front.
 
I usually alternate every year and I had the 5s in black so I went with the silver Plus though the space gray was super tempting I wish I could have both and switch whenever im in the mood (1st word problem IK) lol.

I had the gold 6 and I was really happy with it at first but the white bands on the back started to bother me after a while.

I think it would be interesting (though highly unlikely) if apple switched it up for the next go round and released space gray on a white front and gold on a black front. Silver back on black front would be nice too. maybe there a company that could switch the parts??
