I'm in the 128GB iphone 6 Plus Space Gray boat and ordered around 355-402am EST and my order number was oy-shso-7505466xx and I'm in TN. Had a hold on account as they needed to confirm I'm me but was reassured no delay.

No change to CC, UpS my choice, or FedEx mobile.

***UPDATE***
After numerous calls to order support I got a hold of someone who seemed to be knowledgeable and this is the info I received: upgrades are being processed before new customer orders.

Personally this doesn't make a whole lot of business sense but on a technical side I can see a new account taking slightly longer but not in a way where orders up to five hours after mine are processed.

Asked if they had a way to reach out to warehouse in case this was incorrect and was told despite them being order support they had zero, nilch, nada ways to communicate with the warehouse. Not sure about this. Even asked to speak to a supervisor and was basically told it was useless.

Guess I'll be dropping by sprint stores on Friday and most likely in Vain.

Search this thread, pretty sure within last six pages someone has a 16+ shipping info from ups. They didn't post a pic and it wasn't a long post. Could be wrong but pretty sure it was.

WELL that is interesting. I've been with Sprint for 20 years, and actually added a new line to my family plan to get the new phone. So that kind of sucks that it has less priority then someone "upgrading". I mean, technically it's a new line, which means new 2 year contract. Bleh. **** this.

On their site it says that they do some sort of activation on phones for new customers before shipping, so this additional step is likely what puts them behind.

I should say "for new lines" since you are already a customer. This step is only skipped for upgrades.

Nope, just got the email. Tracking number isn't active yet. Though they usually ship via 2-day air UPS. Not in a hurry to get it, but still glad to see it shipped.
 
Pre orders went live at 2 am central time..by the time the site was up, and not crashing..i was able to get my pre order in at 315 am, so an hour and 15 minutes after pre orders went live.

As far as a delivery date, not yet. Im guessing once its been 24 hours it will update in the UPS system, but I am guessing ill get it friday.

Oh my god guys, it's a miracle! UPS has a tracking # for me and it says Friday Delivery.

16gb + model (No idea which color, I ordered a Gray and a white/gold model). Sprint.com has not updated my order so I have no idea which one it is!

I ordered over the phone and got my order in at 8am PST on Friday the 12th.

I am 99.999% positive that I ordered the Iphone 64GB GOLD for my wife. She specifically told me I had to get the gold... I recall that during the pre-order that choosing the color was a little difficult. Instead of it clearly saying it, it was just a picture of a phone. I wasn't sure if it was just a generic stock image of a phone or if the little picture actually was indicative of the color of the phone you ordered. Anyway, like I said, I am 99.9% positive that I checked it, and checked it twice and three times and definitely saw that it was the Gold phone that I was placing an order for and so I confirmed the order. Anyways, I received a shipping notice today saying that they shipped the iphone 6 GRAY 64gb kit....

Now i'm in trouble with my wife, and she told me that i'm incompetent not to be abel to get the order right. I even stayed up all night refreshing for like 3hrs to do the order and the one specific thing that i am positive i double check over and over before confirming the order was the fact that it was a GOLD phone.

Any suggestions or ideas as to how this has happened or what I could do to get a GOLD phone in exchange for the GRAY phone that is going to be arriving on Friday (9/19).. She literally said she doesn't want the phone if it is gray and so now i'm scratching my head trying to figure out how on earth a GRAY phone had been ordered and not a GOLD when I am positive i checked this so many times before confirming the order.. Could they have got it wrong!?!? Or did I just F*%k up on this... If I made a mistake on the order then I have no idea how. I literally spent all night making sure I got this right and checking so carefully (knowing how my wife is). I knew i needed to order the right one she asked for. HELP!?!

I previously posted this somewhere in here I think but my first attempt was at 315 ish am EST and I selected 128 and on the next page it said 16GB and took me over fourty minutes almost to get back in so yes errors were common that night/morning. I have also read of similar mishaps that happened that people didn't catch in time.

So my wife is now stuck with the GRAY phone? She has already said she won't use it if it is gray hahahaha.. So I must find a solution asap. I have a feeling this is not going to be a straight forward easy fix or the simple matter of just taking it into sprint and swapping it out for a gold one :(
 
Grow some nuts and tell your wife that Sprint made a mistake that you had no control over, and if she wants to wait an extra 3-4 weeks before she gets a gold iphone thats her choice. If i was her, I would just use the iphone and be happy you are getting one so early.

Not trying to be smart and I only skimmed your post but have you considered a case?

I've gotta be honest from my recollection and experience with Sprint they'd swap out a phone for you within 14 days HOWEVER this is the single most wanted device for sale at the moment. It's not unheard of for Apple and even cell companies insurance people to have some stock strictly for replace,nets however for exchanges, that's a different story.

I'd call customer care and if no luck as for the number to order support and see if they can assist. You could call apple and try to order correct one from them and at least ask for the shipping timeframe. I'd also hit up a ton of stores this Friday because you could get one there and just cancel or return incorrect purchase.

Last resort hit up SprintCS on Twitter or social media.

Others in this thread have ran into similar issues and the hard truth is they may not get more stock in after preorders and store devices to accommodate an exchange within 14 days.

Sincerely wish I had better help but this is a start. Also you could start a new thread and ask if anyone wants to trade..

She is an ungrateful spoiled brat (single child) what more can I say. She told me she is going to throw it in the garbage if it turns up at our house and it is gray. She has obviously succumb to the psychotic nature of desperate apple fans wanting exactly what they want. Completely irrational and unwilling to negotiate on the color of the phone. Despite the fact that she will get a case for it anyway... sigh....

Sorry, as a woman myself I think that is BS. I feel really bad for you. I totally get her being upset, trust me I do. We all want things in life, and it sucks when you don't get what you want. But being ungrateful over a color? And it's not like it's your fault they screwed up. She's not buying it? Really?

I would never ever ever treat my partner that way (shifting the blame on them for a mistake someone else made). But hey, if she wants to wait a month to get her white Phone, tell her she can wait. It's really up to her if she wants a new phone in gray now, or wait longer to get her white/gold. Plenty of people would DIE to get their phone early. In my case, I've been without a phone for 3 weeks! I not only want this new phone (because it's an amazing new device), but I actually need a new phone.

Bleh. Anyways, none of my business. Sorry for replying.
 
New customer Type order.

To those who've seen my posts regarding my order here which I had to do a new account to get the 128GB Space Gray plus due to my SERO preventing me from adding a new line to an existing account I have an update.

After being told NO ONE was receiving a plus for three weeks by Order Support, after being told no one can speak to the warehouse people in case of an issue, and after being told existing upgrades were processed before brand new accounts (to some degree may be true) I had hit my tolerance level and went social.

I reached out to SprintCS on Twitter asking how can someone who ordered exact same phone after me already have shipping info and I didnt. I then recalled previously they had given me an email to write them and so I wrote them an email and hours later I was given a tracking number which isn't active yet and was told the label was just printed and its 2 day air.

As of now sprint normal tracking shows no updates, CC still pending charge of a dollar, ups my choice still shows nothing.

I can't say they kicked my order back into gear but seems plausible. Hope so because identical orders hours after mine getting processed before me was becoming insulting.
