Best ever screen protector for iPhone 6

Hey all,

This is my first post. I decided to join and share my find with everyone because I was so frustrated searching the web trying to find a true edge to edge screen protector for my iPhone 6 plus. So here are some pics!

True edge to edge "safe edge" by a company named pavoscreen out of China.
99% clarity, 9H+, case friendly and beautifully crafted.

I got this because of a nice sales rep form the company sent me one along side a replacement for another version of the protector. The version I bought was **** and didn't completely adhere to the edge and this guy sent me their new not yet on the market screen protector. They call it "safe edge."

I emailed him to see if he can give me a link for you guys so we will see what he says. It costed $30 CAD off Ali express. And it shipped to me DHL express 2-4 days! Not bad for 30 bucks!

Have a good one all!

In your picture, it appears three of the corners around the screen aren't sticking.

Looking at the pic, it seems that the protector doesn't adhere properly at the edges surrounding the screen.

You are both right, the edge is not properly adhering, however, I wouldn't blame that on the product persay. I take some of that responsibility and place blame worthiness on my lack of knowledge in installing screen protectors such as tempered glass. I know, I know... It's not rocket science...

I believe that the product is superior compared to everything else I have seen on the web. Regardless, I just wanted to post and share what I found.

Maybe. The good ones stick and don't leave these bubble or areas of nonadherence.

Waiting for my 3Mos to come from China...

Zeos screen protector?

Damn, I hoped this would've been the one to use w/ Apple's leather case but no. Waiting continues.

Looks like your and my waiting is over? :)
Guys, anyone heard of these guys? I did have an extensive chat with them, and looks like they have what we've all been waiting for (fingers crossed)!

Here is the link to their factory store: http://www.zeosdirect.com

Here are some videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSwZIN0Q3iQ

They seem to have a really cool installer as well, that's included in the package.

I did extensive searches about their products, reviews etc., and saw a review by zdnet where the reviewer said it was awesome. Looks a bit expensive, but they have a sale going on now, so for my iPhone 6, it'll come to $31.60 + $4.95 shipping. I did chat with their rep online, and he said that they've been selling a lot of them ever since their press release last month. They have 2 versions - a 3D version and a case-friendly version. Both are edge to edge, with the latter having a lower profile. @finnftw, I too have an Apple leather case, and they said the 3D one (the better one in my opinion, a after my research), will work with that case. So I'm going to place an order today, and will keep you posted of the results.

Really hope this works out. Tired of the time and money I've spent on this. 2 broken screens in my household has made me paranoid I guess :)
Cheers!

Thanks man. Keep us posted!

Just got the imos 3d yesterday. I have to say it's absolutely fantastic. I had the MIME Ghost Glass Color before and didn't like the fact that it wasn't true edge to edge. Imos is a little thick but I think it is truly the holy grail given that's its a little bit more expensive than other brands out there. For me I think the Corning glass kind of makes up for the price. I ordered it from a store based off Hong Kong. Here is the URL: http://store.srsworks.com/imos-3d-co-iphone-6-plus. You might have to switch the language to English. The total with shipping was cheaper through them compared to other stores and I can vouch that it's the real deal. Shipping to the west coast only took 7 business days. I have the screen protector installed with Power Support Air Jacket Force from the Apple Store and it works perfect. Leaves no gaps between the screen protector and the case. Here are some pics. They are not the greatest but hope this helps.

And now the question that all of us want to know. Does it work with Apple's leather case? If yes, then it would be the Holy Grail.

i'm trying to find out if this zeos glass has got the same quality of the imos one...I thought it was made of corning glass like the imos, but now I think it is not, right?

yes the imos is compatible with apple leather and silicon cases :)

Looks great, shame it's so expensive and in such limited supply. Not sure if I can justify spending so much on a screen protector though

Thanks for the fantastic review and pointing out about http://store.srsworks.com/imos-3d-co-iphone-6-plus
Ordered mine there. They have plenty of supply and indeed the shipping is cheaper.
Hopefully will receive them in 7 business days like you said.

You did a great installation.
Do you find any other cons besides it being a little thicker?

I haven't experienced any other negatives except that it does make the phone a little heavy. The combination of the case and the screen protector makes the weight slightly noticeable compared to a naked iPhone. Installation did take some time especially getting all of those small bubbles out. One thing I recommend is once you align the placement, start from the middle clearing out the bubbles and you might have to lift the corners to clear bubbles from each of the corners. Take your time when installing.

Reminds me of the Aegis tempered glass. Same applicator too.

Thanks. I guess the weight is a little compromise for the added protection. I will give your method a try soon. It sounds like the 3d corners are the most difficult parts to get the small bubbles out.
How are the responsiveness and sensitivity of the touch screen after installing the thick glass?

In what way? Please elaborate.

So I'm using it right now. It's not TERRIBLE. It's pretty tough to get the edges to stick, so it stays bubbled until you really really get your fingernail in their to get the bubbles out. I don't really like the feel of it either, it's very cheap feeling.

The biggest issue is that it's super thin so nicks and dings show up really easily. For example, while I was squeegy-ing the bubbles out, the squeegy made marks on the screen protector. I would say stay away from it if you want something a little more premium feeling.

I've actually been a little upset with Spigen lately over this screen protector and their clear case for the iPhone 6, which I feel is very poorly made coming from a company with such great design and attention to detail.

I haven't experienced any responsiveness issues at all so far. I have to say I don't even notice the screen protector except for when u use the home button. There are couple of YouTube videos on installing the screen. Don't be afraid to use the bottom of a pen like in the video. It won't scratch the protector and helps with removing the bubbles.

All of the "E2E" glass SPs that I have tried quickly chip or crack at the very edge. Weakest point, I suppose.

I have a Titanium alloy surrounding glass that I just received from China (from Ebay), and the IMOS also just arrived today.

The titanium is different. It is a matte finish and has bright silver accents inside the cutouts. So far, I think the non-glass edge will help avoid cracks, etc at the edge. Overall quality looks nice, but top and bottom are not completely adhered and there is a line around the glass. Good idea. Need tweaking.

I will try to upload pic before I take it off and put the IMOS on. Gorilla glass!

Bah! I got frustrated & went back to the ZAGG Glass since I got a BOGO deal on Presidents' Day sale. Yeah, both of my previous ones chipped on the edges & were warranty replaced ...but the Best Buy Geek Squad dude was super anal and installed it perfectly for me, and I hope that won't give a loose edge to grab onto something. Besides, the ZAGG product looks as good as anything else, better than some...and can be used with my Apple leather case. Plus...I have a replacement if history repeats itself.

Finally got the IMOS Gorilla glass. It is thick, but I really don't notice it. Feels like native glass and the edge is curved, so no bumping up against the glass.

Best so far, and we shall see if the Gorilla holds up. I hear most of the knock offs use soda glass. Very brittle.

A few pages back you will find pics of IMOS (minmac).
