iPhone 6 falling out of Gym Shorts

I think that shirt is great, but didn't OP say his phone kept falling out during his bench presses? Judging by the X-ray view of that shirt, OP would either crush his phone or *gasp* potentially bend it, if the bar were to fall on his chest.

Maybe, but if that happens aren't there other concerns. But you may be right.

I was considering getting a FlipBelt, but because it's curved I'm concerned that it would bend the 6 Plus over time.

I use my iPod Mini, it came with a belt clip - very convenient for working out. Maybe get one of those cases that you can clip to your shorts.

Although the FlipBelt would be convenient for some activities (where you could move the phone to sit on your back so that it won't be bent), I'd strongly consider picking up an iPod shuffle for gym use, and keep the iPhone locked away or stowed in a bag.

Wear shorts with deeper pockets or get some type of carrying device like an armband, belt clip, or flipbelt.

i'm guessing that Nike, Champion, adidas etc might come out new work out short for iPhone 6 pocket secure. :D

Get someone to put a button on the pocket .... That way you can put your phone in your pocket and then button up the pocket...... better yet ... use velcro to close up the pocket, so the phone doesn't come out...

iPhone 6 Plus fits perfectly in a small fanny pack. You can have headphone wires coming out of the pack too.

I actually just got the Flipbelt to hold my phone, keys and wallet. Also got the Jaybird Bluebuds X Sport bluetooth headphones. Went for a run today with both and it was great! Lifted this morning with the flipbelt and I could barely tell I was holding my phone (6+).

well if i got a 6+ i wouldn't even put in my shorts , the thing wouldn't fit lol , so i would just have to carry it around everywhere

I doubt that. The Flipbelt isn't a tight fit - it'll hold to your body but there's no way it is exerting 70lbs+ of force. I place my phone against my stomach in the front pocket of the flipbelt too, relatively flat there.

Well, an iPad Mini would never slip out, because it would be tightly jammed in there. So maybe that's the logic...

is it just me or does the iPhone 6 just keep falling out of your shorts when your at the gym? if anyone has a 6+ let me know about your experience if that has happened to you or not? cause I'm still on the verge of possibly returning my 64gb 6 and getting a 16gb 6+

Hands down YES. I wear Gym shorts everyday and I find myself having to keep my hand in my pocket so it doesn't fall out or slide out when i sit down or into my car. I don't think there is much we can do about this issue.

You never thought something larger would be harder to fall out because it fills the pocket more? Mine hasn't fallen out but my pockets are pretty deep(UA shorts). But lately I've been leaving the phone in my locker and have Jay bird blue bud x that work throughout the whole gym.
