Are there any folio style cases for the iPhone 6 plus that doesn't have card slots? I want the stand and screen protection but I don't want the bulk of my cards.

The x-Doria only has one slot that doesn't seem to add bulk. http://shop.x-doria.com/products/engage-folio-for-iphone-6#

Folio cases

I have a folio case for my iPad Air by KAVAJ. It's really nice leather, magnetic closure and they're coming out sept 24 with the one for iphone 6+

The Modal Flip Case at Best Buy is very nice for $20, but it's adds significant bulk, and the 6 Plus version weighs 4.5 oz.

i just bought this case, and a friend of mine has one also (he already has his iphone 6+ while mines on its way). this case is a really good bargain with what feels to be good quality.

i don't believe it adds that much bulk, but to each their own. I know some people might be "bent out of shape" about the significant size of the phone, but its a huge upgrade from my samsung galaxy s3. i communcate more through text and email than calls now, so the bigger footprint is more of a welcome feature. in the end, it fits in my pocket, adds protection, and when i get home, it comes out of the case to enjoy (with caution).

go to bestbuy to check it out, the product usually isn't sealed in the box (odd), but from there you can get a feel for it.

By being bulky, I meant in a pocket. One thing that drew me to a folio case is that the iPhone was easily removable.

Kalaideng KLD Enland is the only iPhone 6 plus folio case that doesn't have card slot.

BELK Folio Case
---

My immediate first impression when I pulled out the case from the box was to be wowed. This case looks much more premium than the £9 I paid for it. When I opened the cover, I noticed that even the plastic was of a sparkly shiny texture. In my hand, it felt of decent quality too. Hard but I'm assuming that will change with time.

With the iPhone in, using it is pleasant:
- the screen curves are less concealed compared to the leather official case
- the screen fills up the view so I don't really feel like it's covered in a box
- holding and typing feels comfortable, and maybe even better because of the added grip.

Some downsides:
- pulling it out and inserting it in is generally tough
- using a flip wallet case as a camera is still not natural
- there's a little added weight

I hope it holds out for long. My biggest concern however is whether I can easily pull it out of and out it into the case when I get home from work.

I tried taking it out of the case and it was a real mission. I feared I might have bent it!

So I spent a good few minutes just finding the right technique to get it out and I think I found it, although my thumbs are sore now lol. I have to pry it open from the right corners while placing the other side against my thigh.

A long term solution? Maybe. Better if you don't plan on taking the phone in and out of the case as regularly as I do.

I contacted the seller and he told me the plastic casing inside the folio would become looser and more flexible with use. A few days in and I think it has become a little easier to take out, though not as comfortable as I'd like. Still manageable though.

Can anyone recommend a vertical flip case where the hinge is at the top?

Every cheap eBay vertical flip case I have found the hinge is at the bottom so the case opens downwards.

I want a case where it opens upwards.

I ordered this case from FYY on Amazon, and it also has no card slots. I personally have no need for card slots, since I really just want a "smart cover" kind of case, so this seemed ideal. I will be receiving it on Tuesday, so we'll see. At least it wasn't expensive.

If it's similar to their iPad Air cases, you'll be in for a nice surprise.

I picked one of those up for the princely sum of $1.99 as an add-on item, and found the build quality to be very good, despite the low price (it's about $7 now).
