If you've seen the HTC one (M8 or otherwise) or the Sony Experia Z2 and still saying this, you're full of yourself too.

On topic; I agree with the comments harking the end to the "thin for thin's sake" redesign. Give me a phone with a battery that lasts as long as an iPad. Can't make a battery with today's tech in the sizes you're making the phone? Then make the phone thicker and slap on a bigger battery. I'm sure no one will mind.

I was refering to the two smartphones I've owned not the phones you've mentioned in your post... I was pretty clear on it...

I will still be in line to order an iPhone 6 but have to admit that I am disappointed that they are sticking with ultimately the same design. I understand that changing to something new is expensive, risky, etc. but just getting a bit bored having this shape/look for a number of years now.

Oh well. Maybe the iWatch will come out and I won't care if my phone looks the same as I will be staring at my wrist from now on:)

What design are you looking for? An oval?

Don't get disappointed until the phone is unveiled. The iPhone 5 was a beauty when it came out but now people are bored of it as it it's nothing new. I find that strange. So expect something that will pioneer the design for the newer iPads or MacBooks (I wanna see a macbook with a chamfered edge!)

People thought the iPhone 5 looked the same which was funny because it was physically bigger but thinner and had chamfered edges, new build materials, two toned back, precision speaker grills and repositioned front facing camera. Anything that Apple makes will undoubtedly resemble their other products because it's just easier to carry over designs.

----------

looks like a flattened iphone 5.

doesnt look interesting

:(

It's not even a real phone lol, it's just a block of metal.. but shaped.

The double standard everyone holds apple to is insane, both fanboys and clearly non-fanboys.
What the **** do people want? An iphone that looks like an android phone so android people and can be like apple is copying android blah blah blah. Then if the next iphone is based off the last Iphone everyone complains how apple is not innovating cause they didn't change the design enough..

Moral of the story apple will never win with you people.

Let the whiners whine... Numbers don't lie, Apple makes most of the profit in the smartphone market because consumers keep coming back because they LOVE their products... There is no other reason... When Apple was doing ****** products, it went bankrupt... It may or may not last but let the whiners whine, they are a very small vocal minority.

All the rumors are identical, give or take a drop. Which means that the rumors are Not true.

FYI that circular hole in the flash should be a giveaway that something is fishy about these rumors. Reminds me of the slate iPhone rumor right before the 4s launch.

I don't understand why people expect a radical new design every year... There's only a finite amount of possibilities unless you want them to start shaping it like random household objects, etc.

The other thing that annoys the living crap out of me are the "ME ME ME" people who don't think Apple should make the screen bigger because THEY don't want it. Well, luckily Apple hasn't designed a phone around some of the peeps on this site.

As it has been in the past and into the future, if they release a phone you don't like, don't buy it. Simple!

What do You mean by "every year". iPhone4 is here from 2010 ;)

With all these leaks will it be possible for Apple to release the iPhone 6 sooner than September? I guess this may be the case.

Besides the thin for no reason design? Besides it still looks the same when I'm facing it as the thicker models, so what's the point? The iMac was redesigned for redesign sake. Don't get me started on the inefficient design of the Mac Pro aka the Mess of Wires for Pros.

Why do we have LCD TVs? We should have stuck with CRTs, because they all look the same from the front.

Seriously? You're still here complaining about Apple products? Stop buying products from the wrong company already.

I hope Apple never goes back to a chunky iMac or a mega tower Mac Pro again. My 2012 iMac is the best iMac I've ever owned. Super beefy GPU, with better cooling, even more silent operation, less reflective screen, and much improved internal speakers. And although subjective, less volume and weight is still a win for me regardless of being a desktop, but that's more like icing on the cake.

Yea, I'll take the super thin iMac over one with the optical drive any day.

That is one possibility.

One of the other possibilities is that Apple's secrecy leads to some benefits for small-time vendors such as these case makers. By making a fake template and blueprint, a small vendor might convince many that HE ALONE has an inside track within Apple and thus will be instantly on top of the consumer wave. Stores will go to that vendor due to the special proximity he appears to have to Apple, and his product will be accurate and instant.

In reality, the vendor is just playing a confidence game in order to make sales. When the actual iPhone comes out, he can retool and make proper cases within hours.

That's what happens when you become as successful a company as Apple - people become excessively demanding with expectations that are overwrought. Essentially, they become brats.

I doubt Apple will raise the price. They know how the market works and they know most people buy the 16gb iPhone because it's cheaper. They also know that price has and is still an issue that is brought up with each generation iPhone. They will be forced to reduce their margins once again.

I think they'll probably just shift assembly from China to Vietnam because labor costs in China are on the rise.

You mad?

The roundedness of that is more like the iPod Touch 4 which was way to thin with that kind of material since it slid everywhere in my hand. The newer iPod Touch which is slightly thinner with anodized aluminum was much nicer.

I liked the slight wedge shape though.
