No, you just need pants. Any pants will do. If you insist going with the "speedos over tights" superman-look, then yea, a 5.5" phone might be troublesome. Any other pair of pants with pockets designed by humans for humans should not pose any problem what so ever.

Haha. Exactly what I'm saying. People are way too dramatic about the size of a 5.5" phone. Like they need to upgrade their compact cars to an SUV or something to be able to carry it around.

If this is the iPhone 6 design I am starting to camp outside of Apple store tomorrow morning. So thin, unique and seamlessly matching glass and aluminium with curved display glass? Looks great if you ask me.

I find it hard to believe that is the case tho looking at the alleged front panel pics in this Macrumors story. Front panel is obviously not curved so... It is just like the mockups we've seen except without the antenna lines? Boring.

I'm really not liking those lines at all. I sure hope the real thing looks better.

 Did you even read the article or just stare at the pictures? These backings are all cheap moulds, and the white-striped lines are intended to mark out the location of the back panels, and are not part of the final external design... I can't believe everyone seems to think this is actually what the phone is going to look like, Apple know enough about design to create a half-decent looking phone, and not let engineering get in the way of a good product.

lol...

"quick, lets get these mockups out as fast as possibly, who cares about quality"

Thank goodness the mockups aren't to exact design controls as Apple..

It's what separates them from the 'real deals'. Looks like an iPhone 5c (larger version)

Imagine if the iPhone 6 came out and it was all plastic.. No one would really care, yet Apple adds some weight and everyone likes it..

There no pleasing people...

I love how people just throw stuff out there as if it's so simple and Apple engineers are so stupid or don't understand good design.

I love how people bash other people out of sheer fanaticism.
If other phones can do it then it's not very hard to do. Or maybe Chinese engineers use some secret alien technology.

Who says Apple isn't doing that? We haven't seen the new phone yet.

Best iPhone design ever created. Hands down.

The iPhone 4 was the most excited I ever was for an iPhone. I have an iPhone 5 now, but I still miss the glassy goodness.

My first iPhone was the 3G, so I was super excited about that because it was my first.

But, I wasn't as excited about the iPhone 5. I only really cared about LTE, 64GB of storage and bump up in megapixels. But, I was excited about the form factor. Still loved the iPhone 4.

If the rumors are true, I might have to get the 5.5" iPhone 6 to get OIS and 128GB of storage. I could do without 128GB, but having the best possible camera is a must for me. I really wanted the 4.7" iPhone 6.

IF the white antenna breaks were real

1. 5c color combination
2. 5c cases (by apple)
3. IOS 7 ICON DESIGN
4. And now this IP6 design

It would be fair to say they have finally lost their magical touch in design.

no dual LED flash?

Well it really doesn't make sense that after the 5s they would go back to a single-LED flash and not continue the dual-LED trend.

About dual flash: The iphone6 will have a bi-color LED and retain two tone flash. The only region it was ever two seperate LED's was because at the time no one had ever made a bi colour LED of two such similair colours. Apple will be ordering these by the hundred of million (for new iphone and new ipads) and so the LED will be completely designed for apples two tone use.

About the curved display: It is the edges that curve and tapper off. Take the iphone4 for example. It is a flat screen with rounded corners. The edges are still at 90 degrees. The iphone6 takes this a step further and has the edges curl downwards - that is they are rounded in to the 3rd dimension, not just 2d rounded - the display region is still 100% flat). The purpose of curving the edges of the display is so that the sapphire can sit proud, preventing the metal where the sapphire and class meet from being scratched (ie. no more scuff-gate). What it does is make is so the case is not required to engulf the sides of the front panel - rather the panel meets flush with the metal with no champher required.

----------

I don't think there will be any 5c equivalent.

Remember that apple had to shut down production of 5 because of problems that would have held back the 5s - they needed to keep using the same equipment to fix the screen and casing together - so they could not keep making 5 and 5s together. Usually production of the older phones keeps going (4s was still being made until very recently).

When apple realised they had to stop 5, they needed something to fill the '1 year old $100 less' place, so they took iphone 5 internals and came up with a way to do a new cheap and quick case - which become the 5c.

Its unlikely they will continue this trend. The new line up will simply be 5c $0, 5s $99, 6 $199, 6L $299, then in 2015 5c will drop away completely.

The 4 / 4S was the worst iPhone design. Hands down.

Thick & heavy, with sharp edges that don't feel nice in your hand.

It was probably the most fragile iPhone, too, with it's exposed, easily broken glass on both sides.

The 4 / 4s was the first electronic device I saw with the ability to last wear and tear more than any other device. But it was fragile, prone to break if dropped. That was the only flaw.
But the choice in materials, made it for the first time maybe in the history of consumer devices, to last much more unscratched. Because of the glass which is very difficult to scratch and also the metal bands are difficult to wear because they are not painted and are not made from soft aluminum.

It had the feeling of an expensive watch or jewel more than a phone.

I have a 4s since it was launched, never used a case, I used it heavily till today, and it's like new. No scratches no nothing. Only tons of fingerprints, but these are not wear and are easily wiped away. Other electronic devices show much more wear no matter how careful I was.

I still wonder when I see some 4s's on ebay how do people manage to wear them down so much?

Anyone notice that the line is on the curved edge? Maybe we'll see curved edge glass on the back as well? I suspect the 6's design is going to be awesome.

Please tell me you're kidding. You are kidding right? Just in case you're not (you better be kidding) kidding:

finally some light reading from one of my favorite sites:

To be fair, it's not just Ferrari's that catch fire, but they are infamous for catching fire. Just like Lamborghini.

Apologies to all for going off topic. I belong to two car clubs and we are a wierd bunch.

I see your very passionate ;) though not a problem directly linked to Ferrari cars.
