Which model do you advise? 6 or 6+ or SE?

1. Is 6 with small screen enough for me?

or SE already good enough?

I want a more durable phone because I don't normally buy new phones
I had been using 4S for long long time but accidentally I updated the system and made it SUPER lagged

Want me to suggest what you should eat for breakfast while I'm at it? :p

If you were happy with the 4s' size, get the SE. It's only taller.

If you don't mind using a phone with two hands and have large pockets, get the +.

If you want something inbetween, get the 6.

IHOP sounds good, BTW.

I think the SE screen would be a tad too small for you to enjoy doing texting and banking and online shopping on such a small display. I didn't like to do that stuff on my iPhone 5S.

When I owned and used the 6 Plus I found it a bit laggy, possibly due to having just 1GB RAM and driving that larger display. I don't know for sure, I just know my 6S Plus never lags.

I think the 6 would be a good ergonomic size for your use case. I haven't heard of that model lagging. You can also get an Apple battery case for it if your usage ends up demanding a lot of power. The display isn't too small for comfortable texting.

I know it's odd for me to recommend that model when I own the 6S Plus and will be buying an SE, but my scenario is different.

6 and 6plus: Size battery screen optical image stabilization in photos and video (6s plus only for video)

Slower shutter results in less blur than without OIS
---

6 and 6s difference: 1gb vs 2gb ram, A8 vs A9 (A8 wasn't that much faster than A7), 3D Touch and gen 2 sensor for Touch ID, improved camera, tougher aluminum, better battery theoretically even if smaller capacity slightly because of A9 power efficiencies (ymmv on this)

I personally like bigger screens. Although it doesn't fit in my pocket it's worth it.
As for battery life + is the best option. As for camera again +.
But it is all up to you go test all three models to decide which one meets your requirements. For me plus is the best option.

Get the 6s. Screen is large enough to enjoy everything and the phone is small enough to fit comfortable in pocket. 6s+ can be deemed too big by some and the SE can be deemed too small for others. The 6s is the compromise.

I haven't seen anyone ask whether you text one handed. Considering how big of an emphasis you put on messaging being your number one priority, this would be important to know. The SE will shine here almost irregardless of your hand size. I'm a 6"1' male with average hands for my height and can readily admit that the SE is superior for one handed texting. That said I don't one handed text so that isn't even something I consider when buying.

As far as battery life, you should see a longer life out of the SE than a 6 as well, again particularly based on your reported usage patterns.

For the OP's intended use, I would go with the 6. You'd probably be able to get away with the SE too. I think the 6+ is overkill for you would be using the phone for.

I went from a 5C to a SE and like that size phone. I use it some for talk and text but more for listening to music and podcasts and as a camera. I like that the SE is the same as a 6 or 6S (minus the force touch and with a lesser front camera) and is $150 or so cheaper. Works well for me in the few days I have had it. I got the 64GB because I wont't have to worry about storage. I also am using it as my primary camera these days and like the camera upgrade. I do most of my editing on my iPad.

I've decided to go for iPhone 6S small monitor with 64GB Storage.

I preferred iPhone 6 but it looks like 6S has 2GB RAM while 6 has only 1GB.

I think 6s suits your needs best.

6s Plus obviously bigger and much easier for reading and browse web than 6s and SE however the large size is without any doubt a problem whrn you are out and about.
if you are okay with portability issue of 6s Plus,go for it,better battey life too.
otherwise 6s is the sweet spot size.

SE is great but its best for those who favour small size and portability above everything else (people who care about making phones calls more than chatting and web browsing).

forget about 6 and 6 Plus,1GB Ram is becoming obsolete fast, who knows how long 1GB can jeep up with new iOS versions.

The SE is perfect for chatting. Everything on the 4" display is the same size as the 4.7" display. There's just less displayed. The keyboard is a little smaller, but people managed before the bigger iPhones. I have no issue switching between my 5.5" Galaxy S7 Edge and 4" iPhone SE.

The only thing I really "struggle" with on the SE is desktop web browsing. I have to zoom a lot. Everything else is perfectly fine on a 4" screen.

It's all personal preference based on usage.

My wife is 5'1 and has much smaller hands than I do and she got the 6+ with me (her first big phone). First thing we noticed with the larger phone? You end up using it a LOT more. Now? I can't even type on a 4s, 5 and the screen is so tiny it is repulsive. If my wife loves her 6s+ (now) and will never go back to a small phone, then it really isn't the size of the person that matters, it's usage patterns.

I looked into a 6s before I upgraded a few days ago but I could never get used to the smaller screen. I consume so much on my 6s+ that I almost want the screen to be bigger.

Getting a 6+ made me sell my iPad because I never used it (literally). I used my iPad a LOT more when I had a smaller iPhone (5). After the 6+ it never got used, so I sold it.

But again, it's personal preference. Do whatever you want - don't take people's word for it, go in an Apple store and try them out 10 mins each for yourself.

SE. Chat programs are known to kill batteries so if you are using all sorts of chat programs at any one time I'd stay away from the 6 or 6S.
