My 6+ paired fine with my Toyota (Prius), but the next day when I started my car, bluetooth won't connect automatically. I had to manually connect.

Hey njchris ... I was successfully able to use the bluetooth audio and calling again today without any issues. The fix I outlined is working perfectly for me. I do have a 2014 F150 and iPhone 6+ so if your setup is different, then results may vary.
Thanks. I went back and saw i missed the reset all settings in my phone.. .i did that and then repaired and it worked for my test call. Hope it sticks.

That said, this shouldn't even have to have been a process. It should have just worked like any other phone I've used in my cars.

Agreed, it's a pain .... but at least it's working for us now. :D

My 6 Plus paired successfully and works fine for calls and audio in my 2012 Dodge Charger with the UConnect 8.4 + nav system. I didn't even delete the stored pairing with my iPhone 5.

Have issues with playing music as well as using phone functionalities on my BMW M6 and x1. Music stops playing randomly on m6 and phone functionality has been disturbed on both M6 and X1.

I couldn't pair my 6 Plus with my VW Tiguan either...
haven't yet managed to sort it yet... but was curious to see a list of my Apple devices when I attempted to pair it with my car though

My 2013 BMW 335i is having problems. The phone pairs properly and the address book is uploaded, but any call made from the phone stays with the phone even when I have the send to BMW option selected.

If I place a call from the through the car telephone on the NAV it plays properly through the car. On iOS7 it worked properly no matter where the call originated from. I had the same problem on iOS8 and iOS 8.0.2.

Same problem here with a 2015 UK spec Mazda 6 tourer.

I can start a call through the car but all audio stays on the phone. I select the Mazda as the audio destination and it try's but then goes back to internal. Wife's ip5 is fine

I'm having problems with an F150 and ford sync. Haven't tried 8.0.2 this morning but will soon.

I have a iPhone 6 Plus (64 GB/Space Gray/ATT) that is pairing with my car's bluetooth system (Subaru Legacy 2011) but I'm unable to make outgoing or take incoming calls.

Is anyone else having issues with their iPhone 6/iPhone 6 Plus connecting to their car bluetooth system? Thanks for any help!

I have a 2011 Toyota Avalon and a 2-wk old Iphone 6S Plus. Handsfree kit worked perfectly for about 10 days, then suddenly my mic wasn't getting into the bluetooth connection. I could hear the caller through my car speakers, but they couldn't hear me. (Music was streaming fine through the speakers, by the way).

I tried the regular re-setting & re-pairing routines - nothing fixed the issue. Just got off the line with Apple Support, and got an excellent tip on re-setting the phone.

I have always held down the power button and the home button until the phone reboots and the white Apple logo appears, and then released both buttons at that time. The Apple Support person advised me to keep holding both buttons until the logo DISAPPEARS, and THEN release them. The phone kinda went to sleep and appears to have gone through a somewhat "deeper" re-set. Went back to the car, set-up Bluetooth again, and everything is working perfectly again. I anticipate using this "deep re-set" more in the future!

Hope this helps!
