I'll believe the prices when I see them listed by Apple on the day of the new iPhone announcement.
What he said.
That being said, I can see the 4.7 going for $199 and the 5.5 for $299. Ofcourse that's for the smallest capacity.

what would these be subsidized?

As usual, apple has introduced a big increase of the iPhone prices with the new redesign.

Converting yens to dollars we can get an approximated cypher.....
iPhone 6 4.7" will cost USD 859 for 16 GB, USD 989 for 32 GB y USD 1.119 for 64 GB.
iPhone 6 de 5.5 will cost USD 1.022 for 16 GB, USD 1.152 for 32 GB y USD 1.249 for 64 GB.
What do you think guys? I think it's not good at all, if it's true iPhone will cost more than 800, maybe it'll reach 900 easily after taxes. these prices are BLOWED UP.
I'm so angry

I think the most important thing to note though is that just running a price through a currency converter isn't really a good indication of what a price is going to be in someone your own country. For example, the same phone in Australia is $250 more expensive than it is in the US. Everywhere prices differently.
I don't think reacting to prices just yet is really going to achieve anything. Just wait it out.I don't PERSONALLY think the 4.7 prices are going to change from the current line up, but we'll see.
iPhone4 suffered a price increasing from the 3/3G model, and iPhone5 suffered the same increase from the 4/4S... Why don't you think that we are in the same situation?
Because IF they're releasing the two models, I doubt they'd put a price increase on both of them. That wouldn't be a good look. I'd imagine they'd keep one line with the current pricing and then have the bigger models at a slightly higher pricing model.
Hasn't going from like 80% market share to like %10 given them any clue at all? (or whatever the actual numbers are, i don't recall off the top of my head)
As usual? Apple keep prices in line with previous models, or at least they always have in the past.As usual, apple has introduced a big increase of the iPhone prices with the new redesign.
16 GB ....![]()
also that jump in price from 16Gb to 32GB cant be right .... it costs them $9 and they charge you an additional $130 for it?
Apple charging $100 to double storage memory is the norm. Android makers charge approx $50 to double storage.

What is totally clear is that iPhone 6 will be PRETTY MUCH EXPENSIVE than previous models...I'm so angry!!!!
well $100 != $130
They aren't going to decrease iPhone prices simply in the hope that their market share increases. If they do that, they take a huge risk that their profits and revenue decrease.

There won't be a 16GB model...
VAT=30%
$100x.3=$30
$100+$30=$130
