As usual, apple has introduced a big increase of the iPhone prices with the new redesign.

Converting yens to dollars we can get an approximated cypher.....

iPhone 6 4.7" will cost USD 859 for 16 GB, USD 989 for 32 GB y USD 1.119 for 64 GB. (We are talking about a +210 USD increase!!!)
iPhone 6 de 5.5 will cost USD 1.022 for 16 GB, USD 1.152 for 32 GB y USD 1.249 for 64 GB.

What do you think guys? I think it's not good at all, if it's true iPhone will cost more than 800€, maybe it'll reach 900€ easily after taxes. these prices are BLOWED UP.:confused::confused::confused::confused:

What is totally clear is that iPhone 6 will be PRETTY MUCH EXPENSIVE than previous models...I'm so angry!!!!

Too bad that the prices seen in the leaked picture are in HKD (Hong Kong $), not Yen.

I think at this stage, its probably better if we wait the 4 days to see what apple says about the price.

I do expect the larger iPhone to be pricier but how much more is the question.

Only Apple would charge more for a larger screen that is long overdue. Android hasn't added extra cost onto their increased screen real estate on their current devices. I hope they don't unless they also upping the base storage amounts in the process.

Wait, wait wait, where is the 128 gig model??? I've read all of that there is one??

Anybody stating that they are selling the iPhone6(if that is even what if will be referred to as) for X amount of money to begin with is probably jumping the gun.

Capacity and geographical rollout are not yet established. You may have seen some add or excerpt from someone that is trying to sell the next iPhone without being an Apple authorized merchant.

So, it is already certain the sizes of the new Iphone 6's will be 4.7 and 5.5 inches? I thought one model was going to carry the same size factor as the current 5s.

I wonder how much it will cost in the UK.

Always seems like the UK just replaces the $ with a £.

Yeah, there is a model that will be sold that is the same size as the current 5S. It is called the "5S".
The 4S and 5 will likely be completely canceled by Apple. Only question remains is regarding the 5C?

I think Apple is going to surprise us and have both models at the same price point. Except the 5.5" one starts with 64GB

4.7
16GB 649

Both
64GB 749
128GB 849

32GB is out as a sale static to get people to spend $100 more since they will get 4x the space.

Makes no sense. People won't spend what they don't have.

Well, that would make my decision simple. I want the 5.5" but I'm not paying that much. This is what I imagined...

4.7"

$649
$749
$849

5.5"

$749
$849
$949

Although now that I've actually typed out $950 still seems like a LOT of money. :p

This was about what I was thinking. Though subsidized (if you still tend to buy them this way)...

4.7"
$199
$299
$399

5.5"
$299
$399
$499

Sure it does. There will be always those that only buy at the $199 subsidized price point or will wait for $50 discount by Walmart/target/ect by December.

But there are plenty that are on the edge for paying $100 more for more space. Those people (myself included) could be easily persuaded to upgrade with a 4x bump. I doubt the margins between 32GB and 64GB is that much.

Those used to paying a $200 premium will continue and get 128GB.

As i've posted on another thread i cant see Apple not doing the 16gb phone. For all the techy types that post on forums like these that have phones full of music, big games etc there are going to be lots of users that use it just for phone calls, texting, a bit of social media and taking a few photos here and there where 16gb is plenty big enough....my other half did three years on an 8gb iPhone 4 and the only space issue was when it wanted to download iOS7 so she just stayed on iOS6.

I cant see Apple charging the same for a base 32gb phone as they would a base 16gb phone so why would they drop the 16gb phone and potentially price themselves out of a lot of casual users who upgrade on contracts etc.

16 GB .... :mad::mad::mad:

also that jump in price from 16Gb to 32GB cant be right .... it costs them $9 and they charge you an additional $130 for it?

1.249$ would get u a MacBook Air + an iPad Mini jikes

Apple has always screwed their customers on memory pricing. It's usually $100 to double the amount or RAM. Each upgrade is almost entirely profit for them.

If this is true in any way, shape, or form...damn that's expensive.

I doubt it though. I'm guessing that apple will keep their prices the same as they are now.
