Typical APPLE under estimating their product. Same excuse every year. While they keep demand up, our 1 our 2 year phone are not worth as much as they were 2 years ago. When I upgrade my iPhone 4 to a iPhone 5 2 years ago, I got $220 for a 2 year old 16GB model. Now, I will be lucky to get the same thing for a 2 year old iPhone 5 with 64GB in it, even though I paid $200 more for the phone.

Sell it on ebay right now and you would get 325+ for that phone right now.

I was able to sell 2 16g iPhone 5's for over 270 each last week.

Don't take these deals that are being offered by the carriers they are ripping people off.

Put my wife 16gb 4S on Ebay last night, and with in 15min it was sold for $170 just like that. With quite a few offers before that, So would expect a 5s to sell for more on Ebay.

Locoboof, I've told you a million times not to exaggerate. I live in China, and never was the iPhone price as much as double the U.S. price. They were always unlocked, though, coming into mainland from Hong Kong.

I don't know who you are or remember YOU telling me anything and honestly I don't care who you are. I'll say what ever I like. I saw them going from 800.00 to 1900.00usd on eBay for a plus. So if a plus is 499 with contract And they sold it for 1900.00 that's over 3X's as much. My point was I didn't like their ethics,not that anything was illegal,I just did not like how they took stock from people that really wanted the phone to use,not to make money.
