Iphone 6 space grey heavier than silver or gold?

Hi guys

I got space grey 6 and i love it. But i went to apple store and tried to play around with gold color and silver color.. I noticed that there is slight difference weight difference with my space grey. Do any of you aware of the issue?

Pls advise
I tried to search the issue and doesnt seem to find one and wonder if it is only my phone

April fools day is over my friend. Those phones have an ultra thin anodizing, you will never feel a difference in weight cause of that.

There could conceivably be a weight difference based on the memory capacity (16GB vs 128GB), since the higher capacity means more memory chips inside. And I would expect any display models would be 16GB. Though to be honest I doubt it's a big enough difference that most people would notice.

You would also expect Apple to note such a difference since they have the weights and dimensions of all the models available in minute detail.

But anyways, OP you can actually ask members to send you weight numbers on this thread and get an answer, it is not a crazy question and worth investigating, no harm. Unfortunately I have a space grey as well, and it's inside a thin case so don't want to pull it out for the experiment.

It also felt heavier when I downloaded some heavy metal from iTunes.

It's not the color, it's the apps. More storage used equals more weight. Try removing some music or uninstalling some apps.

and yes i just noticed this too when i was playing with my wife's gold iphone 6. my space grey (both 64g) is not only heavier but also thicker. i thought i was tripping, then i put her phone into my bumper case and it was obvious that my SG had a more tight fit.
