I used the 6 for almost three weeks and was unable to return it when I finally submitted to the fact that I wasn't going to get used to the size. Ended up trading a coworker for his 5s with a little cash thrown in.

Very happy to be back with the 5s. No noticeable performance difference and I still have my Touch ID.

I switched from a 5s to a iphone6 plus. idk, if it help but i thought i let you know.

I am pretty dis-satisfied with how large the 6 is.
I just can not keep the phone in my pocket while driving or while at work. It's just too big. Even with sweat pants on its just bulky. Try squatting down with a 6 in your front pocket. Yup, I feel sorry for anyone with a 6+. I can see why they bend.

Other than that the phone is great. Batter life is about 3-5 hours better than my 5c and 4s with comparable use.
I do like the better security of the 6.

Edit:
Also on the hand - comfort thing.
I have big hands and long fingers. I can use it with one hand "ok" if I stretch it, but I am constantly using 2 hands like a blackberry because I feel I will drop the phone trying to use one hand to do everything. Imo (and apple) the 5/5c/5s is the perfect cellphone size for the common human hand.

What kind of pants are you wearing? It's not bulky at all even with an average case on it- my 6 with a Spigen case is about the same thickness as my 5S with a Spigen case. I have no problem with any kind of pants. But I wear normal cuts, no skinny jeans or too tightly tailored slacks.

Just a normal pair of Levi's not skinny jeans or anything. My work pants (basically G&K dickies) are actually worse than jeans. I couldn't imagine putting any phone in a pair of skinny jeans.
Dress pants on the other hand , the phone fits just fine no problems.

I've had my iPhone 6 for a few days now and I'm seriously thinking about returning it and going back to my 5S. The larger screen of the iPhone 6 is fantastic, but for me, I now realize that portability and being able to use it comfortable with one hand is more important to me. And the iPhone 6 definitely feels bulkier and a bit heavier in your pocket.

I've never dropped any of my previous iPhones, but it's already been two close calls with the 6. Because of the extra width and round edges it seems more slippery that the 4/5 series, especially if your hands are dry.

The 6 is also harder to get in and out of a Sena UltraSlim case, and because of the new location of the power button, the phone can be accidently turned on by mistake simply by just touching the outside of the case lightly (because of the snug fit).

I would love to hear from anyone who have had similar thoughts, but then stayed with the 6 and are now happy with the decision. Or from anyone who went back to the 5S.

I had an upgrade this fall and I was planning to get another 5S because I couldn't imagine that I wanted a phone as big as the 6. I figured I'd upgrade to the 6 and then return it for the phone I really wanted, another 5S. (I carry two phones, one for work calls and one for personal calls.) The short version is that I completely fell in love with the bigger screen and keyboard on the 6, and it still fit in my shirt pocket easily, so I wound up selling my other 5S and buying a second 6 out of contract - that's how much I liked the 6. I definitely had not expected that to happen.

So right now I am considering upgrading to the 6. Anyone have any more opinions on the form factors of the two devices?

From your other thread I thought you had decided to go with the 6. These size variations make for tough decisions, don't they?
They sure do! It is so tough. I like my 5s, but think I might like the 6. Decisions, decisions

Let your sister have your 32GB 5S, trade her 16GB 5S in on the 64GB 6, decide you're going to adjust to the size, and use it till the 7 comes out next year. Done! You'll love the 6. :)

I really think I will. If she decides that she does want to have the 32gb, then I'll do it!
Update: just found out that she'd rather just trade in her 16gb 5s for a new 32gb 5s. Looks like I'll be holding out till next year, unless I want to buy one full price, or used. I really have to decide if i want to go for a 6 or 6s full price, or wait till next year, cause otherwise, if I decide to stick with the 5s, I need to change the battery soon, as it is getting quite horrible at holding a charge and was confirmed by AppleCare as totally consumed.

If I had a 32GB 5S and was pleased with it (I would be since I'm still on my 32GB 4S), I would put a new battery in it (I've done it DIY twice with my 4S) and use it till the 7 came out. You're still on the fence about the size, and you know what you have.

If you want the 6 then get the 6.

Or

Just wait 3 more weeks till Apple's announcement and see what the 6S/6S+ has under the hood. It might be worth it, it might not.

Obviously opinions will vary, but I was fine with the 5s until I got a 6. Now I would never want to go back to such a small phone.

Regardless, at this point you should definitely wait to see what the 6s/6s+ have to offer. You may decide that the new model is worth the investment, and if not, low will certainly be able to get a 6 at a lower price than you can now.

I was between the 5s and the 6 back in February. I ended picking up the 5s and I couldn't be more happy. I tried a friend's 6 and it is too big for me. I do not regret about my decision. Anyway, in the end it is only personal preference.

I prefer iPhone 5s. I bought it three months ago 32 Giga model. Similar photo and video and performing as iPhone 6, more beautiful then iPhone 6 (my opinion), touch ID, and especially much more comfortable (
for my hands and my pockets).

Ahh so you go the 6?? Ok then I don't want to see any posts from you in a couple weeks that your thinking of going back to the 5s. Lol

Lol no definitely not! Loving this bigger display! Not too big, as I can still use it in 1 hand, yet a super nice upgrade from the 5s; nice to have a bigger screen without giving up the comfort of one handed use.

So now that you have, I'm curious if you understand why so many people say it's hard to reach with one hand? Do you think it really boils down to people having smaller hands or shorter fingers (reach) than other people? I don't think it would be a problem for me since I have piano player hands. lol Yet still I love the portability of my iPhone 5.

As a side note unrelated, if I were to ever get the 6 or 6s, I would most certainly get the Spigen Neo Hybrid metal case (the one with the diamond cut on the side) I saw a video on you tube and it really remind me of the look of the diamond cut iPhone 5/5s. So at least I wouldn't lose that gorgeous look that I feel in love with on the 5/5s.

I really do think it comes down to the size of people's hands. I have larger hands, so for me it isn't a problem, but if I had smaller hands it might just be a deal breaker.
