this looks like a very promising wallet/stand full protection case.

does anyone actually have it or have experience with it?

does the front flap have a magnetic lock?

why is there no camera opening in the back? does one need to remove the phone/plastic shell case to take photos/videos?

does it have a large gap when folded, like mentioned above?

what chance does one have of the back panel magnets losing strength from attaching and detaching the phone/plastic shell?

I would like to know too .... plus are there any other comparable cases like these ? I only found the Dock Artisan that was also detachable.

I'd also like something detachable or a folio that holds a 6+ with a shell case so that the screen is protected in a pocket or bag. This would be similar to the protection I get for my iPad Air from a smart cover with my Tech21 shell, and the cover comes off when it's in the way.

I'm leaning towards trying one of the Storyleather folios. You can custom order the size so they would fit a phone with your favorite shell case and some even have an option to include strap or belt clip.

I'm hoping this would eliminate the need for screen protectors.

For $20 I had to bite, I'll get it here by Wednesday. I will post pictures once I get it, thanks for the tip.

Btw, as of this moment it shows 2 in stock for the black one.

Thanks for being the guinea pig. I might get the white for my wife. Not enough good stuff for the 6 plus yet (my phone).

anyone else get the sense that no single design stands out as both functional and svelte? I see no way to carry cash, financial cards and things like health insurance ID cards without getting a mini brief case.

Definitely functional for me, but I don't need to carry a bunch of cards. Just credit, debit, and license. I charge 99% of everything on one card for rewards with debit as backup. Have pictures of my medical cards...all the doctor needs are the plan numbers. Keep my Costco card in the truck for the one day a month I need it, and all my other loyalty cards work off phone number.

I love it. It helped me realize how I carry all this stuff around 365 days and don't use most of the cards more than a few days.

For those who ordered the Portenzo case ( I know a couple in here quoted me saying they were) what color did you end up getting?? I'm giving in and ordering one. Can't decide between the midnight or chocolate version.

Can someone recommend a wallet case that does not have a gap when the flap is folded around in the back.

I want the case to be totally flat when flipped open. No gap where the arrow is pointing.

FYI that gap is actually a benefit. The noise canceling mic is back there and having it covered would limit its effectiveness.

Just got the Lab.C case from amazon and here is what I think

Pros:
+ You can separate case from wallet (magnetically attached)
+ Three credit card slots, and an extra pocket (I was able to place a total of 5 credit cards)
+ Large camera cutout, flash light is not affected or blocked
+ Magnet is strong
+ Screen protector and cleaning cloth are provided with the case
+ Price, for $20 dollars it’s an “OK” functional case

Cons:
- iPhone holder is hard plastic (has a pattern but not padded)
-Very difficult to remove the iPhone out of the holder
-The case doesn’t align well on the magnet (need to readjust it)
-Credit cards are rubbing on the iPhone screen
-The iPhone holder doesn’t have a lip to protect iPhone when used separately (see picture)
-Workmanship and material = very cheap (see pictures)
-With phone only the flap doesn’t close (strap is needed). If used with phone, 4 credit cards and strap, the flap would deform (see picture)

Overall: I was happy to find an alternative to the very expensive Artisan Leather case http://www.dockartisan.com/products/artisan-leather-wallet-case?variant=965719904
but the quality of this case was worse than the case I got from ebay. I was willing to keep it but, seeing how it deforms with credit cards and it was already scuffed out the box; I will stick to my ebay case and wait for the Artisan case to be on sale. I hate to put Lab.C down, but this is going back in less than 24 hours of arrival.

Note: for comparison the pictures are showing another case from ebay and the Apple leather case.

I actually ordered the Ledger case from them. I gave it a lot of thought and although pretty much all of their cases look incredible, the Ledger just looks more unique to me. Ordered 2 1/2 weeks ago, so it's taking them a while to meet the increased demand. Hopefully, I don't have to wait too much longer. Keep that in mind when ordering yours. I'm going crazy with this wait, as it's my first leather phone case. Yes, I know - it's definitely a first world problem. :)

Yea the more I look at the Ledge, the more its growing on me. But two and a half weeks ago? Did you try contacting them? Their website says their production time is up to 14 days which it seems like you've been waiting longer than that. That's why I might wait until production time goes down because with a case this gorgeous, waiting 2-3 weeks for it to be delivered would be hard lol

I actually ordered a custom color (which I WAS going to have to pay for, but it turns out they had sourced a batch and are apparently planning to do a special "limited edition" or special release or something in the exact color I wanted (gray).

I would attach the image Portenzo sent me for color reference, but I'm apparently too dumb to figure out how to post a pic...

I don't have it yet, but assuming I can (lol), I'll post pics when I receive the case...I'm pretty excited.

A week ago I talked to a customer service rep. She didn't have any details on where in the process my case was. However, mine was a custom case - I asked them to take the Alano case (without the wallet) and slap an Intellistand on it. Since only the wallet version of the Alano comes with an Intellistand option, I had to place a special order. Still, they're handmaking all of these and mine shouldn't take longer to make than most of their other cases. Tomorrow I'll reach out to them again. I'm getting really antsy now! Haha.
