iPhone 6 Wallet Cases roundup

Still figuring it out. I like the quality of the leather and the fit of the phone is pretty spot on. Forgot to mention I have a 6 plus too.
I'm concerned about getting used to having a cover for the screen. Never had it on a phone before. I have an iPad air with a smart case so I'm wondering if it will be similar. I just don't know how I feel about having to open the flap when I take my phone out of the pocket. Since one handed use is essentially almost gone for me with the plus it might not be that big of an adjustment. Time will tell.
I'm also concerned with the lack of a black ring around the camera cutout. I've read about wash out issues. How do I test that? What should I look for?

did you consider getting the Tokyo which doesnt have a cover? I was contemplating getting the Dallas but i figured it would be a hassle. Now when you mention wash out issues do you mean when taking pictures and they look like they have a white filter due to the flash hitting the case? I would try taking pictures with and without the case then compare. Should very easy to distinguish. I had ordered the Verus Slide out Credit Card case for my plus but it had the wash out issue so i returned it.

Considered it but it really didn't go that far positively. I already have the apple leather case so I wanted a different option for different occasions. So for this one I wanted a case that could replace my wallet when I feel like it.
Kind of off topic but I'm changing my approach to cases this time around. In the past I would just get one case and use that for as long as I've used the phone. This time around I want them for different purposes. I.e. A lifeproof when I'm outdoor and active, wallet style to replace my wallet, apple leather for day to day, maybe a spigen slim armor or the like for traveling and taking pictures when I'm not in the elements, etc.

Other first impressions. Phone looks significantly bigger but that's pretty obvious. It's also noticeably heavier. It's pretty easy to take the phone in and out of it. Wish there was a stand mode.

A few questions...
1. Does it feel cheap? It looks nice, but hows the quality of the Leather?
2. Does it add a lot of size?
3. How slippery is it?
Not cheap. Quality is nice. I may put some obenauf lp on it too. But for now I love the color.
Yes to me it adds a lot of size. But that's coming from me who really prefers thin cases.
It's not any more slippier than the apple leather case.
No problem. Still too early for me. I may give it through the weekend to figure out if I'm keeping it or not.

I bought the Incipio Watson Wallet Folio. I like being able to remove my phone from the wallet part at home, talking on the phone, etc. I prefer the snap case removal over the magnetic one because I didn't want to risk any of my cards getting demagnetized or the phone falling out the wallet part. So far I like it.

I used the spigen CS case yesterday at Disney. I really hate the feel of the case. Really truly. And having to remember to push down on it is a pain...
I loved having the cards in there. Loved it.
I guess I will get my $14 worth out of it just this weekend.... But I still want the Incipio with three cards.
Oh and apparently it showed up while the boyfriend was traveling. He met us at Epcot and when I pulled it put to get some food, he was impressed. Not enough to get an iPhone, but seriously - it was funny how much he liked it. He also didn't mind the feel of it.
I'm just not sure I can justify spending $35 on the Incipio for the stowaway. Exct I think I'd be apt to use it all the time instead of my apple silicon I use now. I do know that I'm not going with a case with a cover - that would have driven me crazy during the day.
Once apple pay rolls put in the Disney parks I should just need my I'D and my passholder card. See, I don't need to spend the $35 right??

my main thing would be how comfortable it is going to be flipping the cover around to the back...ie how flat it lays... I am sure it will get flatter over time but was really wanting it to feel comfortable in this position....actually thought of modifying the case some so that it will magnetically hold the flap back there by utilicing one of the card slots ....wont know til I get it whether this mod would be worth pursueing.... anyway thanks again...looking forward to getting mine
Right now it lays like this. But like you said until it softens a bit it may not be that flat unless you squeeze it tight together. At this point I'm not liking how thick the phone gets when you fold it back.

Thanks... that helped...I can tell it will ly flat eventually from that, might have to help it along for a few days but the case looks very nice.... the extra bulk is really pretty minimal compared to other folios on here so I think I will be happy....prefer that over a screen protector which I think this phone needs screen protection during transit.... thats alot of glass

one more thing,,,, I am curious if the flap would clear the camera if folded back at its furthest point of bend....ie with the most leather protruding on the left hand side.... if it clears then that would be an ideal spot to create a crease....the idea is when I put a fridge magnet in one of the credit card pouches the flap will stick to the back....depending on the type magnet they used for the closure...some will stick to the back and some wont depending on what kind it is

another advatage of having that extra material on the side is you can hold it between your index and thumb and tuck your fingers underneath... i do that with my moshi case for my mini and its a comfortable way to hold it when surfing etc

That's a good point about holding it when surfing. It works.
I tried to fold the back like you mentioned and it covers the camera cutout.
That's to bad... I knew it would probably cover the flash but was hoping the lens might clear..... It means a lot to me to take photos with it in this case but did not want the flap hanging.... It's a cheap enough case to wear I might put my wife's sewing skills to work lol.... But I'll use it as is for a while just to see.....obviously have no experience with the 6 plus form factor yet and am basing most of my wish list on the iPad mini..... I've even considered having my wife sew a zipper in so that during photo sessions I could just covert to a Tokyo
i think they are all going to be a plastic...so your only choices are going to be either a sleeve or one of the cases in this thread that the whole case removes from the wallet...... I think the latter is ideal but dont like the implementations I have seen..... the lest couple of weeks have made me wish I had a position at a case company as a designer.... I really think I could improve on just about everyones.... its not the looks so much as it is the functionality that they seem to miss the boat on
---- edit... part of that is apples secrecy thing.... I am sure alot of these manufactures could improve substantially if they had the real device a month or two before launch..... that being first to market thing kills their creativity I think
