I've been using my Portenza for about a week now. I had them make it without the elastic. I love the ability to take the phone out easily to leave in my car when I go into work. Really like it so far.

I received an email that my Dock Artisan case has shipped. That took a while I preordered back on 9/19. Hope it looks as well as it does on the website. Any other folks preorder from them and have you received your case yet?

Mine is shipping too. Hopefully it will be here early next week.

Has anyone tried those Sinjimoru stick on card holders? They're going for only $9.95 on eBay, seems like a easy add on to any existing cases, minus the bulk from a full wallet case.

I have been using an Atelier Pall for the last 2 years with an ip5.

I wrote a review when first bought it. The craftsmanship and function is fantastic, and the thing still look flawless after 2 years. It protected the phone well. I drop mine perhaps 3 times over the 2 years while it's in the wallet. When I trade the ip5 in last week, the phone was in mint condition.

Personally I don't care for the folio style wallet. When I use my phone, especially at home, I don't want to have the rest of my wallet attached to it.

Sure, there is a risk when you take the phone out and using it naked, but that's the risk I am willing to take for not having to put up with a case or carry a separate wallet when I go out. On the other hand, the Atelier Pall wallet is very protective when the phone is in it.

I did buy AppleCare+, partly because the ip6 is a bit more unwieldy due to the extra width, and partly because I let my 8 yrs old daughter play with it a few times a week. She is very careful and better than many adult I know about taking care of things, but accidents happen and if it does, I don't want her to feel too bad.

The only bad thing I feel about this is that now I have a perfectly beautiful wallet for an ip5 that I have no use for.

Most Versatile Wallet Case

Hi all, I used to have a wallet case for my iPhone 5s and now I'm searching for a wallet case for my 6 Plus. I have been searching for about a month and finally, found a case from Lab.C to have all the specifics things that I look for in a wallet case as follow.
  • Leather (its a fake leather, I would preferred real leather)
  • Stitched leather (laminated edge could peel-off over time as my last one did)
  • Ear speaker cut out (can take a call with front cover closed)
  • No clasps (this one has notebook style elastic band instead)
  • Phone is easily detachable from case (for car mouth and use as GPS)
  • VDO viewing stand position (both horizon & vertical)
  • Card slots (at least 2 slots)

Yes, anal I know.

Anyway, I'm still waiting for my case to arrive from amazon and will give it a review soon. Below is the picture of the case.

By the way.. found a nice VDO review of this case on youtube

It's nice if you don't need to carry cash. I tried a no cash experiment once 2 years ago when I got a card carrier case for my iPhone 5. It didn't work out so well. There are a few places that I frequent that still take cash only. Folding bills to fit into a card slot is really cumbersome and destroy the flat look of a cards only case.

This is the portenso case. Same basic design. The hard shell is likely too heavy. I bet it's very hard to take off as well.

I also considered Portenso case but they don't have the ear speaker cut out. Their case look very nice though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Doesn't need the ear speaker cutout since the phone comes right out of the leather case easily, if you don't want to hold the case up to your ear. The frame is magnetic.

I posted this in a different thread. It's not a wallet case but folio and I can tell you for sure, it's not super bulky or anything. I love it so far. It's sleek and has a magnet that keeps the cover from opening. Oh and it's called the sensecover by Moshi.

Really? Just might be what I need then. I've been using a money clip but have since gotten a corporate card and two key cards that don't fit in the clip so I want to avoid going back to a wallet. I came here looking for a wallet case but may just settle for one of those if thre only a buck.

I've NEVER see them @ target. post a pic next time you go.

bed bath beyond had a 2 pack for $1.99 on closeout. i picked up red/orange and green/blue. would have wished they had gray/black but nope.

Sure thing. I found them mixed in with more expensive cell phone accessories up in the "dollar" section at the front of the store. I dont have the packaging anymore, but its a soft rubbery material and the sticky backing says 3M all over it. Will post a pic tomorrow of mine at home.

Are those buttons on the lover part of the cover...

...and do they really do something?

Some of these are really cute, but are those that like/have used the ones with the wallet on the back, have you ever had problems with stuff falling out?

I've been eyeing these up on amazon but I'm not sure whether the material would feel cheap or not. Seems like a much cheaper version of the Moshi posted earlier.

For those of you that have already used a wallet case. Do you find that you require a screen protector to prevent scratches from credit cards? I have heard stories that the credit cards eventually scratch the screen. I don't like how screen protectors look or feel, so haven't used one in awhile, and would prefer not to.

Am I out of luck with a wallet case? Or are they just rumors about the scratches? Thanks!!

Kevin

My past iPhones' screens have been marred by credit cards after long periods of use in wallet type cases.
