Some website called TKTech news stated that they thought it would be announced today as foxconn lost some iPhones earlier this month. Personally I don't see it happening but you never know.

I'm just saying that quite a number of people were in two minds about it, maybe they were just hoping the iPhone 6 would be announced, but either way they are not dense .

People are easy to fool when it's something that they want to believe. On the other hand, present people with overwhelming evidence of something that they don't want to believe and they'll still find reasons to reject it.

When I downloaded the install for iOS for my 5S, I got the message for the wrong device for this firmware. I thought this was kind of odd. Since I downloaded the file for my iPhone. But when I read the filename. It said iPhone6.1_8.0_12A4265u_Restore. Could this be the file for the iPhone 6?

Edit:
I guess not. it said iPhone6,2_8.0_12A4265u_Restore on the second file.
And the last file worked for upgrading the iPhone

These are just model identifies, the 5S has some models that are iPhone6,1 and some that are 6,2
