I am hoping that the use of a more efficient processor will allow Apple to use the native 2208x1242 resolution for the 6+, without any hit to battery life or the need for downsampling.

    Other wishlist:

    2gb ram

Elimination of the camera bump and the antennae breaks

We will definitely get a faster processor, so no worries there.

Dedicated processor for always-on hey-siri feature

    Low-end ? Seriously, dude, both 6 and 6 Plus are high-end smartphones.

Some people just prefer the smaller screen size on the 6. TBH, I love the features on 6 Plus but I hate the size. IMO, Apple should put similar specs on both models, and just let people choose whether they want smaller or larger screen. That will stop some people from calling it low-end since both have similar specs.

Yeah, I said "low-end" because it is the cheaper of the two variants with less features compared to the Plus. What would you have liked me to call it?

I'm not trying to knock the 6 but you can't ignore that it has less features than the 6 Plus (lower resolution display, inferior battery life, no OIS).

Yeah, I hope the only difference is the screen size, because not everyone wants a giant phone.

I'll be honest with you...if the iPhone 6 had a 1080p display and battery life comparable to the Plus, I would have gotten it instead. I didn't necessarily want a "huge phone" but the improved features (mainly battery life) are what won me over.

Unfortunately I doubt much will change with the 6s beyond more RAM (2GB) an improved camera (OIS on all models) and perhaps a slight redesign to improve the ugly antenna bands.

Maybe they will introduce a smaller model. There certainly appears to be demand for it from some people, myself included, but perhaps we are just a vocal minority that has no real bearing on sales.

If we're posting a wishlist rather than being pragmatic:

4GB RAM. All the high-end Android devices have 3GB already.

Gorilla Glass screen. I'd rather have a scratched display than a shattered one if I drop the phone.

Curved back. While it makes the device thicker, it means that you have:
    1. A more secure grip. (try holding a 3GS again after the 4/5/6)
    2. A more comfortable phone.
    3. A more rigid shell.
    4. More room for increased battery capacity.
    5. Enough depth for a flush camera on all models.
Smaller device. I don't have a need for a 4.7" device, and 3.5" was perfect in my opinion.
With most apps being designed for 16:9 now, I suppose it would have to be 4" like the 5/5s, though I'd like a bump in resolution.

OLED display. We're finally at the point where mobile OLED displays are better than LCDs in almost every way. The iPhone 6 display is great, but the Note 4's is better.

Move the buttons. Having the power button opposite the volume buttons is an obvious mistake.

More storage. I understand the marketing reason for the 16GB model to exist, but it sucks.
I'd like to see all the current capacities doubled, or failing that, 256GB as a new higher-end option.

Better camera. 8MP just isn't enough sometimes, and only being able to shoot JPG images instead of RAW is really holding things back - especially with how fast the processors are now, and how many people are used to editing their photos now anyway.

Waterproof design. Sony has been doing it for years, I'm sure that Apple could manage it.

I tried 6 Plus before, it's too big for my hands lol.

Out of curiosity, how do you bring your 6 Plus with you ? Do you put it in your pocket or just carry it with your hand ?

If Apple bought some Xperia Z3 from Sony and flashed iOS on it you would have your iPhone 7 right now instead of waiting for two years, when you may or may not get some of your wish list. Steve Jobs nearly partnered with Sony. Perhaps now is the time.

I wish they would do something about the antenna breaks. The white-on-gold lines on the Gold phones are just visually jarring. When I first saw that, I thought it was a Goo-phone or some knockoff.
