Wait I thought Mega Pixels don't matter.. :\

They are not everything: I think the point is, that there is little value in jumping to 12MP until you can maintain the quality you had at 8MP, whilst providing a higher resolution. Apple must feel that they can do that now.

That and Apple was waiting for 12MP sensor parts to get cheaper once 16MP sensors and higher became available. I wouldn't be surprised if Apple put a 16MP sensor in a iPhone 6s prototype and were very satisfied with the results, but decided against it due to cost.

And when you have the 128GB you will need a 256GB

It is time for Apple to include 256GB or more in the iphone 6S

It is now possible to include too much space without issues about size or weight

I could see that. I went from an 8 GB storage iPhone 3G that I bought on release day 2008 to a 64 GB iPhone 4S purchased on release day 2011. My storage was octupled. Biggest storage in the iPhone 3G was 16 GB in Summer 2008. So by October 2011, three years later, maximum storage had quadrupled. 2015 is FOUR years later, and it's merely doubled.

Also.. If I have an iPhone with 256 GB storage, I want a MacBook with 2 TB SSD.. there seems to be some foot dragging on that particular front, especially in terms of pricing.

I love reading all the love for 4k and 12mp when the competition has been doing it for years and now all of a sudden its a new holy coming when apple finally does it.

I also read the 6s is getting the same modem the gs5 had lol all the hate when competition had it and nothing but love when apple finally catches up.
perhaps you should look at the name of the website you are on!!! duh perhaps you want the sammsung rumors site

But the reviews for the iPhone cameras are nearly always universally positive. The reason that is the case is because more MP means more processing. If you have resource hungry algorithms then you drain battery, or you sacrifice some of the quality and reduce the overhead of the processing. It is all a delicate balance.

Of course what you say is also true: they have margins to maintain, but because they don't have a chuck it all in approach they can achieve high quality and high margins. That's the brilliance of apple.

This is all from a man who spent 3 hours this past weekend with various outlets of Apple support trying to get a raft of annoying issues fixed. None were.

i agree I'm dumping video at least once a week with a 128gb iPhone 6plus some times twice a week

Man, I hope this is true. 4k on the S6 is awesome and it would be just as good if not better on the 6S. I do hope Apple finally lets users change the video recording resolution (720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 4k) Android has been doing this for a while. No idea why Apple has yet to add this feature in the camera settings.
we had this for some time now in the filmic pro app:
HD 1920X1080(16X9)
HD 1280X720(16X9)
HD 1280X720(iFrame16X9)
SD 960X540(iFrame16X9)
3K 3264X1836(16X9)
2K 2048X1152(16X9)
2K 2048X1080(DCI 17X9)
CINEMASCOPE 1920X740(2.59:1)
SUPER 35 1920X802(2.39:1)
LETTERBOX 1920X873(2.20:1)
SUPER 16 1792X1080(1.66:1)
SQUARE 1080X1080 (1:1)
SQUARE 720X720 (1:1)

using a moondoglabs.com lens will increase the resolution on 2k to 2724x1152 and 3k to 4341x1836.
