iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Now Available for Pre-Order

Ordered. This may be my last 2-year contract ever. Says 09/24 delivery...interesting.
 
Done at 12:07, from the apple store app. The website is still down for me at 12:22, now I wait for the email. See if i got in fast or I'm going to have to wait for weeks.

I've just pre ordered the 6S Plus at 8:02 in the UK. I used the Apple Store app, everything went through smoothly, no problems at all.

The Apple UK website is still not allowing you to pre order at 8:24, so I would recommend anybody wanting to pre order to use the Apple Store app.

ATT's preorder starts a little early and I was able to get in with ease. However all 6S Plus models are ship from Oct 16 while all 6S ship from Sep 24. Apple site and app still no good. Checked verizon and they have all 6S Plus deliver at Sept 25. Not sure what happened to ATT.
 
As much as I like the features of the iPhone 6S, I don't want one because it's too big for me to use one-handed. I'll wait for an iPhone 6C. Until then, I'll make do with my iPhone 5S, even though I would really like Apple Pay support.

I will probably have to cancel the order, and go to the AT&T store on launch. Thanks AT&T for messing everything up!

Everyone got that date as the estimated delivery date, I believe. Hopefully it will change.

Same here, 2 6s 64GB rose gold, 1 6s+ 128GB space gray - AT&T Next.

As usual these ANALyst don't know what they are talking about - this will be the new way upgrade your phone - if you are in the US on one of the installment plans, there is simply no reason not to upgrade to the latest and greatest every year.
 
Me also had more luck with the app. Ordered 128GB 6S Plus space gray.
Delivery week of 2015/10/5. Seems a popular combination and/or supply issue ?

If you order on the AT&T website, the 6S Pluses don't ship till October 18. If you order from Apple, they ship ASAP on Sept. 24. The downside is you can't order AT&T on 2-year contract from Apple, but you can on the AT&T site(for people who plan to switch TMobile for ETF credit).

yup. i had to do the same.

looks like the 6s+ rose gold 64 and 128 were the popular ones. already at 2-3 weeks.

this is from the apple store.
 
Ordered mine through the iPhone app. The only problem, it only said full price but I wanted the next program and that didn't show. Will I be able to go to the next plan?

Mine went really really well actually. Apples website was the worst. I think its still saying "we'll be back soon". AT&T was better. But the app was by far the best. Was easy a pie. Went through very quickly and easily with the 25th delivery. Got 2 128GB, one rose gold 6s and 1 space gray 6s Plus. Good luck to all who are still trying!


PS: It took like 15 minutes for me get my confirmation email. Don't fret!

Features like the keyboard trackpad were present in the iOS 9 betas on previous iOS devices, yet has been removed to exclusively be on these new devices.

This may be the right buy for pre-iPhone 5s users ready to upgrade, but otherwise this year it all seems so half assed.

quick and dumb question. Apple Store app says T Mobile is unlock.
I use ATT and want an unlock for international travel..
 
I was basically forced to order and unlocked GSM iPhone because the information for my Verizon account wouldn't go through on Apple's website. Will the GSM model work if I simply insert my Verizon SIM from my iPhone 6?

Check that your address matches the credit card exactly. Things like Court vs Ct. can screw that up.

Anyone else have to text Apple's reservation system to get a code for in-store pickup?!? I followed the instructions and still haven't gotten a response back. Ridiculous.
 
Used the Apple Store app and didn't experience any issues. Apple.com still showing "Preorder 9.12"
