first off, it's definitely pink. Not rose gold. Sorry guys that ordered one, but you'll be rocking pink.

Second, first bug I found is that you can't delete or move icons. The press and hold doesn't work. Even turning off 3D Touch doesn't work.

Speaking of, you can adjust the sensitivity of 3D Touch between low medium and firm. The default (medium) is fine. It vibrates once if you press something that supports 3D Touch and twice if it doesn't.

Front camera is noticeably better. No it doesn't match the S6 or Note 5 front cameras, but it definitely is good.

App switcher doesn't lag (yay).

The 6S Plus' weight is noticeable. It's heavy. Not necessarily in a bad way, but if you own a 6 now it's noticeable and no one will say it's light.

Any questions?

By moving icons, you mean switching them to a different place on the home screen, correct? Hopefully there's an update for this down the road (or in the near future)

Did you ask someone how you delete or move icons, then? I suspect Apple wouldn't have missed something that obvious...

C
Who to ask? The phone isn't out yet. we have tried multiple things and so far we cannot move or delete it icons

That's not true at all. Gruber said that it can be tricky to do with Force Touch. He mentioned it in his review that he posted this afternoon on Daring Fireball. It's not impossible, but can be tricky. It seems like there is only one level of pressure that can be used on the home screen. Apple should have implemented a deep press to edit the home screen icons if it is more difficult now. The alternative answer is that the demo units you are using have disabled editing the home screen icons.

Watch the verge review of the 6s. He shows that the moving icons works just fine.
Do you know if they were on 9.0 or 9.1. This is 9.0 and I cannot get it to work

Is it on display now in stores?
Not sure. We have our demo device but aren't allowed to put it out yet.

That's a good point, but we haven't loaded the demo software yet.

I mean, I have the Rose Gold charging cradle sitting in front of me and it's no more pink than one should reasonably expect anything called "rose gold" to possibly be (given that rose gold does not refer to any one specific alloy or color, but rather a group of copper and gold based alloys)... It's not baby pink, it's not bubblegum pink - it's a pink-leaning copper shade that looks more or less identical to what Apple has in their official images. It reflects more pink tones in some lights, it reflect more orange tones in other lights.

If you think it's "definitely pink" and you don't want a pink phone (which, sorry guy, a lot of men don't actually have a problem with andddd probably won't be rushing to return it)... then don't get it. Some people who have seen it feel this way, others (like myself and some other people around here) don't. Do we need a declaration about it's pinkness every time? Friday will be interesting.

And considering that in reviews you clearly see people with different Home Screen arrangements I find it somewhat difficult to believe that you can't move icons around anymore. I'm pretty positive someone reviewing the phone would have made a note of such a dramatic flaw.

So if you REALLY have it - does the plus lag and stutter like the 6 plus?
Thus far no lag. My 6 Plus mainly lags in app switcher. No lag on 6 S

No one else thinks this guy is trolling??
If you look at my history you'll know I don't troll. God apple people make my head hurt. Focused on everything but the main point of this whole thread. /signs out

No one else thinks this guy is trolling??

(Picture remove so as also not to be offensive per macrumors rules)

But yes, proof was here.

Awesome!

If you go to mail and Peek (light force touch) on a message, then swipe to the right -

1. What options do you have when the message is already unread
2. What options do you have when the message is read?

Basically, from the peek, can you mark a message as READ?
