Are you able to compare T-Mobile band 12 coverage with an existing phone? I'm very interested to hear about band 12 performance on the new devices.

A question that not a single person has answered yet: is the old vibrator completely gone and replaced with the taptic engine? When you get a phone call, does it use the new taptic engine to ring? How is it compared to the old vibrate motor?

Maybe you got the defective demo unit that's why the icons are not moving

This was answered in the Daring Fireball review.

The old vibrator is gone. Only the taptic engine is in use. It is much better.

Awesome!

If you go to mail and Peek (light force touch) on a message, then swipe to the right -

1. What options do you have when the message is already unread
2. What options do you have when the message is read?

Basically, from the peek, can you mark a message as READ?

Is it the TMobile model? Is it the same hardware as the AT&T model? (with band 30 support)

I can second what this guy is saying. We got our demo as well and I played around with them. I have a leather case and I'll try it out on our 6s tomorrow and let you know if the case fits. So far the only cases in aware of that won't fit the new phones are the otter box and Pelican Defenders.
I do think that the phone is pretty pink personally. In a certain light you see the hints of a less gold, more Rose gold, but straight on and at a glimpse, it's pretty pink to my eyes.

The 3D Touch haptic feedback is noticeable but subtle. It makes the 3D Touch very intuitive. I think it will be easily adapted by the less tech savvy because of it.

Also noticed that when you have the Beta Fish live wallpaper on the lock screen, you can press more and more firmly to move the fish in a forward motion faster and faster, and as you decrease the pressure it moves backwards in the same manner based on pressure.

Playing with the phones made me a lot more excited.

I can also say that inventory for our store is much better this year than it was for the 6 and 6 Plus, but we are FAR from having every option in stock. If you're lining up at a carrier store and are dead set on having a phone in hand on launch day, have a back up option.. And another back up option lol. Just to be safe.

Probably been written about on the net somewhere, but does the taptic feedback extend to when you're typing on the keyboard? It's one thing I kinda miss from my Android days...

How does the trackpad keyboard work to reposition the cursor? Do you use one finger but just press down on the keyboard hard enough?
When typing a message just press and hold anywhere on the keyboard and you see the cursor appear at the end of what you just typed and just move your thumb in the direct you want to move the cursor.

Can you describe how the 3D Touch taps feel? Does it feel like you are clicking the screen (like the Macbook trackpad) or just that the phone shakes?
Haven't used a new MacBook. To me because of the subtle feedback you get it actually feels like you're clicking the screen like the blackberry storm 2 (yup I went there... But the 2, not the 1), except you're not actually clicking the screen. Just gives the impression you are. Overall it works. Good feeling and you know when you're activating force touch and when you're right

Does it click when you're typing on the keyboard? Kinda like what Android always do.

first off, it's definitely pink. Not rose gold. Sorry guys that ordered one, but you'll be rocking pink.

Second, first bug I found is that you can't delete or move icons. The press and hold doesn't work. Even turning off 3D Touch doesn't work.

Speaking of, you can adjust the sensitivity of 3D Touch between low medium and firm. The default (medium) is fine. It vibrates once if you press something that supports 3D Touch and twice if it doesn't.

Front camera is noticeably better. No it doesn't match the S6 or Note 5 front cameras, but it definitely is good.

App switcher doesn't lag (yay).

The 6S Plus' weight is noticeable. It's heavy. Not necessarily in a bad way, but if you own a 6 now it's noticeable and no one will say it's light.

Any questions?

Does the front camera have a wider frame of view than the 6? (Can you fit more people or scenery in a selfie?)

Thanks!

Same field of view

My speck candyshell grip fits perfectly.
Tech21 fits fine
Case Mate Naked Tough fits fine
Mophie Juice pack air fits (little tight)
