I'm still on the fence whether I want to buy the 6s or not.
Currently have a Sony Xperia Z3 which is still one of the best Android phones.
My main worry is losing the great battery life and multitasking features I've become accustomed to. That and waterproof design but no other phone has this feature anymore.
I think I'll wait until all the reviews start coming to decide if it's worth switching.

The good old days are over. There's wasn't a single conversation about Apples new iPhone 6S at work today. It's like the event didn't happen.

Outgoing, social and known as a vocal Apple iPhone Supporter at work, I get questions and requests for help everyday as I walk between the huge buildings on our campus.

In the last six years there's always been a buzz after Apples announcement. Today it was completely devoid of any buzz at all.

Eerie silence

Here's an article.

I logged into Mac Rumours this morning and was surprised to see all this activity about iPad Pro, iPhone 6S etc. I had forgotten the announcement was happening and, I concur, no-one at work nor any of my friends had mentioned anything.

I have to agree.

Significantly, and sadly in a way, this is the first iPhone since the first that I won't be bothering with. I've had all 8 previous models from launch day. Can't see the point in having the 6s to be honest.

Unless...:D

Eh?! Who says? Of course it's possible to improve. Who knows what great innovation is just around the corner?
Because it simply can't happen on a yearly basics. Just look at all the devices that's been out this year. There is only so much you can improve on.

Are you new to iPhones? There's never as much buzz about the 'S' versions compared to when there's a full redesign.

Like any drug the more you get the more you want. I maxed out a while ago and still hold an iPhone 5 - to me it's all good only because I took a long break from the buzz. The 6S is a major jump for me on a solid build!

Get used to it. The public is becoming increasingly jaded. It's just another smartphone, faster ones with new features come out every year. No one cares anymore, and that's fine.

Only something radical will get their attention now. Apple basically needs to reinvent the iPhone. Maybe curved glass, no borders, some new gimmick that no one has every seen, etc.

That's not a wish list, just some examples.

I think it's pretty great for an S year. The 4s was a much smaller upgrade over the 4, and it was still very popular. I think the same will apply to the 6s. I'm genuinely excited about 3D Touch and the camera.
