I'm still buying them. Force Touch alone is going to be absolutely huge. Give it 6 months and anyone with an iPhone lacking Force Touch will be really missing out on some amazing in-app experiences.
And you know this how?..

Welcome back Tim.. Oh how we've missed you..

Small poll, what word will Tim use the most between now and the keynote.. Options are.. Amazing, insane, essential, pipeline, awesome, epic, fantastic.. Brilliant.. You decide..

I don't think people dispute that the phone will bend. It's when those with the bent phones claim they did nothing to bend it. Sure, the 6 may be weak near the volume buttons and more than 9 people have bent phones, but it doesn't bend on it's own. Maybe there was even a batch of phones that were more susceptible to bending than others, but some force was exerted to cause the phone the bend.
And people bend other phones as well, including the iPhone 5.

You may also need to begin worrying about the state of your own country's education system. They could do a better job teaching punctuation, appropriate word selection (like status vs. state), grammar, and how to express ideas accurately. (U.S. money doesn't use the metric system. I is *like* the metric system and your example conflates size and value where it should draw a parallel between them. It also makes no sense to relate 1 cm to "10 cents". You should have related 1 cm to a dime. People are correct when they don't get it after you give this example. It doesn't make sense.)

10 cents is a dime . Of course I explain in more detail. That is something everybody gets. Even the dumbest people I meet know money coins and bills.

Yes, metric is for measurements and the US money uses decimal, but that is too much info for some people. (They don't even know what decimal means)
They have a show here on TV : "Are you smarter than a 5th grader" and the participants non knowledge is shocking.

BWT: I am not from USA or American, but I have seen enough of their "eduction system" that is "questionable" to be kind. Part is parents not taking the time to educate and help their children and blaming schools instead and another part is how they push kids through to get them out and show good educational numbers by district/school type.
Parents also need to learn not to be friends with their children. Take away that internet, iPod, iPad and make them study or at least enlighten them how to learn.

Zombie generation in the making.

Then get an Android phone you feel is adequate, then get back to me when you realise that iPhones aren't actually as bad as you're making out and other phones have the same, if not worse issues than the ones you are quoting.

Oh but I agree, Android phone are absolutely ugly which is one of the reason why I haven't switched yet. But if iPhones are going to be ugly while being crazily overpriced then guess what, there is absolutely no reason anymore for many to upgrade to an iPhone.

People have always said things like "just add an extra millimetre so you can fit a bigger battery in". What they're forgetting is the phone is only 6.9mm big anyway. 1mm is 15% fatter, and given an even/uniform weight distribution, it would also make the phone 15% heavier too putting the iPhone 6 at 148g (which would be the heaviest iPhone ever) and the 6+ at almost 200g. No thanks!

I'll take my chances... ;)

Do you know how heavy an iPhone 6 is with a battery case? All that plastic casing around the battery?

No... Apple could do a better job by simply building in a bigger battery themselves.

All I'm suggesting is an additional thicker iPhone model. Call it "iPhone Pro" or some other special name.

If you want the anorexic iPhone... go ahead. Other people could choose the phone that they KNOW can survive the day without looking for power.

Here's the deal.... battery capacity is not increasing at the same rate as the slimming of the phones.

I say... reverse the slim... and add more battery.

(I know this is just fantasy) :D

I'd be so happy if we are going without the fcc stuff at the bottom and just the apple logo. Any truth to that

I cant wait to try force touch one handed, press the screen and watch the massive too big hold properly with one handed phone drop out of my hand and smash onto the floor.

Looks like Apple got wind of Spigen posting all those cases for "the Next iPhone 6s and 6s Plus" because they were up a few hours ago but now they're all gone. I'm amazed they were up as long as they were.
