iPhone 6S Owners - Are you upgrading?

Very OT, I have an iPhone 6 and simply cannot find a single reason to upgrade.

Speed? Mine is plenty fast. Honestly, I am on iOS8 and can't complain.

Display? Yes, I could do with a 5.5" but I want to wait for the next model which should have a much improved screen.

Am I the only one in this boat?

I think I will be upgrading. Cash in my iPhone 6s Plus 64gb for £425. My only issue is that I think that the iPhone 7 Plus 128GB will be more than what I paid for my current iPhone which was £700. That might be a deal breaker for me. I have a feeling it will be more like £749 which is a relatively high increase considering it won't have a headphone jack.

The adapter better not be £35.

I'm upgrading. I'm still trying to decide between piano black (if it's a thing) and rose gold.

Both my fiancé and I are keeping our iPhone 6s+. We both had a 6+ but upgraded to the 6s+ to get band 12 coverage with T-Mobile. We will likely upgrade when and if T-Mobile comes out with 600 MHz LTE. But for now,
iOS 10 runs great on our phones and doesn't degrade them at all.

We are.... I have a 6s+ and he has a 6s....

We are on ATT's NEXT 12 and we are both upgrading....

OH.... and I need more storage... my phone is almost full so I need to get the 256 :p

I am upgrading for many reasons:
- want a bigger phone as I am finding 4.7' to small and not so comfortable to use
- tired of black front - want white front
- my mom is in a desperate need of a new phone (hoping to convert her from android to iphone)

I went from the 4.7 to the 5.5 and I have to say I miss one-handed texting. It's doable on the Plus model but it's harder. With the 4.7 model, it's easy and simple.

My 5S is the last flagship phone I will ever buy at launch. The phone pricing and structures of plans (especially here in Canada) is far harder on the wallet than they used to be. I'm upgrading to a 64GB iPhone SE and I fully expect to easily get another three years out of that phone like I did with this one. My 5S is still running superbly and hasn't let me down except for the diminishing battery life.

Flagships, even if the 6S sees a $100 price cut, are out of my price range now and likely in the future. If it wasn't for the SE I don't know what I would do...

(note, I don't watch Futurama).

You should, it's fantastic ... no joke, I was actually watching it this afternoon (well, running it in the background).

I'm undecided. I will wait to see the whole announcement this week. I'd like to any yes but my 6s plus is doing great. I just don't know. I'll figure it out after the announcement I think.

Yeah, my 6S+ is outstanding, haven't had any issues, take great photos/videos, it's extremely fast, lets me collaborate, access business tools, etc. The purported 7 updates look good, nothing too major, I mean I always like incremental camera improvements, the water resistance is super neat. I'm like you, wait and see after tomorrow, I'm on a payment plan, so it's easily done.

Is the lack of headphone jack a deal breaker for anyone?

Not at all, if I decide on the 7 (see above), or wait for the S (or 8[?]) next year, it's a non-issue. I use AirPlay at home/office, direct connection in my cars, BT headphones, and on the occasion I want to use it as a music source (vs. my Mac), _and_ I want to use something like my Sennheisers, I'll just use an adapter. :)

I ended up going with the iPhone SE since my iPhone 5 stopped working last month. I never considered the 6s or the upcoming 7 at all coz it's more expensive. I don't plan to upgrade until 2017.

Yes, I am upgrading from my 6s Plus to the 7 Plus. Love my 6s Plus but the leaked upgrades on the 7 Plus look great to me.

For now sticking with my 6S. I never thought I would say this but I am fine with what I have, and I do not see any huge updates on the 7.

Maybe if a JB comes out quickly I would make the switch, only because I can't resist that piano black finish.... if it is legit!

I'm not upgrading my 6s +.

I think the 2017 iPhone will be a more substantial upgrade and I am willing to wait.

I get subsidized pricing every year with my employer's agreement with Verizon. It only makes sense to upgrade every year since the upfront cost is usually a wash due to trade-in values coming pretty close. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't.
