i just bought a new iPhone 6S Plus and the battery life on this thing is really bad. See pic. I am getting 6hr:21min of usage going from 100% to 5% battery life, mostly using Safari. This is at least 4 hours shorter than what i used to get on my iPhone 6 Plus. Before you start telling me that i got a defective device, let me tell you that i already exchanged it once and the battery is the same.

Any one getting similar battery life?

Would help if you showed us the details of usage by tapping the clock and told us your settings (brightness, on wifi mostly or 4g, phone signal you are getting, etc).

This is my usage from a few weeks ago after exactly 24 hours from the moment I plugged it in to make sure all the screen on time is from the one cycle without overlap. The standby time stands at only 15 hours obviously because it doesn't account for bed time and it starts counting from the moment it is unplugged in the morning.

autobrightness on, mostly wifi, one to two dots signal only (been told a bad signal uses battery galore), bluetooth off, background app refresh off for most apps, location off for a number of apps. Safari usage included an hour of streaming of a football show and consistent browsing.
All in all a bit over 9 hours of screen on time with 10 percent left.

Is this first cycle? Give it a week, let it complete all the background updates, connections. Don't go by the first few charge discharge cycles. A number of people have reported marked improvement after a week or two of use. Also hard boot the phone, on/off button and home button till you get Apple. Finally take a look at the battery results, is one or two apps running a lot in background? Some times an ap can lock up, or like FaceTime be running in background using radios. What is your screen brightness? Do you have a lot of pictures and music in the cloud. Mine took a couple of days to get everything reloaded and running smooth.

I had a 6s plus with no problems and battery life was ok but no match for my Droid Turbo 2.

Did you restore from a backup or set up as new? If you restored from a backup then that might be your problem. Do a setup as new and then manually add the apps that you use and change the settings to the way you like them.

That should solve your batter problems. This is what I got on the first charge when I set up as new:

I find that with the way I use my 6S Plus, I lose about 10% of battery for every hour of "usage".
