I know this thread is old but my iPhone 6S Plus seems to have similar issues. I hear a nice click when I plug my headphones but they come out around 20% very easily, enough to stop the music playing. It's a clear issue when I got for a run when the iPhone bounces around a bit.

Anyone have any luck explaining the issue to a Apple Genius person? I have an appointment, what should I tell them?

Ive seen 5 replacement in a row had all loose jack. Good luck . ended up selling that one. And bought different color and good jack.

All replacement units ive experienced had all kinda problem. Yellow screen. Loose headphone jack. Uneven volume button. Loose home button. Really baf

If i have a problem down the road i will just let then fix it not replacing

I'd get a new one. I am encountering the same and even if I ty to clean dust out the jack: nothing there...it came out of the box with the jack hole bored too wide.
Hi guys!

It's been a very painful week, it started out happily when I got my iPhone 6s Plus but didn't take long to find the iPhone was defective, I took it back since I bought it in London's regent st. Exchanged it - that one had chipped aluminium on the right corner right out of the box in the store -exchanged once again, the next thing I know my earphones fell out, the jack was too loose! Exchange - still loose - exhange -> open box in store try the jack with 3 employees and all agreed it's ridiculously loose - exchanged - got the new one - loose again, had steam coming out of my head and my earphones sliding out the phone when coming home but i just could not bother again. What would you guys do next? Refund? Exchange?
