Some people used to comment on lint getting jammed in the home button, or other crevices. I'd be careful with trying to clean it, as you might push junk into your phone. Again, without pictures it's really hard to say what's going on.

All that is going on is that the phone is used. Wanted it to be immaculate? Don't use it. I just don't get this obsession with keeping a device you use every day, that goes with you through all the **** you do in life, immaculate. Even for resale it isn't that big of a deal to have scuffs or scratches.

I can't believe this thread made it to 2 pages with no pictures. I'll add one.

Thank you very much to all for your comments and concerns. I sincerely and greatly appreciate it.

Fresh out of the box, my iPhone had some scuffs on the antenna band. However, it's so slight I don't feel like going to the trouble of replacing it--nor do I feel like posting a pic. ;)

You guys are just way to hard on people. It's about as common as anything else to have little scuff makes on the iPhone 6-6s/plus antenna bands. I mean really? This isn't user error all the time. Apples quality control is not there anymore, there are loads and loads of posts and threads about people Opening their boxes and finding scuffs, scratches, dead pixels, you name it.

@op....honestly if your not using a case on a phone like this, that's just asking for trouble. You can wear pants made of clouds from the heavens and you will still end up with hair line scratches. My advice, get a case and call it a day. Lol, the material inside the case can even scratch the device....is what it is man.
