I was using the GamePigeon app for iMessage to play pool with my friends through the Messages app, and since I was taking a final in school, I was required to shut my phone down before taking the tests. However after finishing and powering on my phone, whenever I click on the reply my friend sent with the gamepigeon app, my phone shuts down without the spinning wheel and I have to wait a few seconds before I can power it on. Why is this happening and can it damage my phone from suddenly shutting down?
[doublepost=1482259959][/doublepost]After second time this happened it said my phone was dead but it was at 22% and then it powered on as soon as I plugged it in.

Not to sound unkind, but given your long history of posting various issues with using your iPhone and related fears...perhaps you would be best served using another device?

Just a thought...we should be so lucky.

I've no experience with this app you describe so can't help you on this...Sorry.

I'm also not trying to sound mean but you could just ignore my posts

Have you checked to see if you phone was part of the Apple battery recall?

Try deleting the game or restoring completely. Seems like a memory leak from the game.
It's not a normal app though, it's an iMessage app where you can text other iPhone users games like pool, four in a row, etc.
