Currently have a 5s and was thinking of upgrading. Main reason is battery. I usually am able to charge my phone at night but that's because my phone is on low power mode most of the time and I don't use it that often during the day, but when I do use it, it drains quickly.

I think it would a worthwhile upgrade.

You could take it to the Apple store and replace the battery for $79 and be good as new. I'd do that and wait for the 7 or 7S. Save your money and spend it when needed.

Sorry lads, but all those talks about "huge huge difference" between iPhone 6 and 6s making me laught :) I bought pink one (6s) for my wife (because she was using 5s) and i'm still using my first gen 6. Difference in real life scenarios - from small ones to no difference. Yes, i'm not a hard user, i'm not playing games at all and so on, but i don't have any good reasons to upgrade this year. Design is the same, battery life - the same, camera - the same (yep, i don't need 4k, because everytime i'm using 1080p 60fps), 3D touch - will be great next gen trick (when most developers will add it to their apps), live photos - sorry, i'm not 16 already :D

Is it big upgrade for 5s user - hell yeah, for 6 - nop, just nop :)

Lol jipped? I upgraded from a 5s too only back in December and I'm still loving my 6. Debated whether or not to get 6s and ultimately settled on just waiting to see what the 7 has to offer.unless you're some super power user, the differences are not that dramatic. The improved screen real estate itself will be a huge improvement coming from either 5. I'd say if it saves you money op go for it for the time being. There's really nothing wrong with the 6 despite what the "latest and greatest" crowd says

Lol.... Wow. You all are taking what I'm saying out of context. I'm not saying there's a problem with the iPhone 6. It's a great phone. It's the best selling iPhone of all time for crying out loud. However what I'm saying is that Apple crippled the A8 from day one. Once they decided the 6 wouldn't have anymore Ram then the A7 was when they decided bigger screen was "good enough."

The question is get the 6s or the 6 or wait for the 7. My answer is get the 6s or buy the iPhone 6 if you can find it used.... I wouldn't pay full price for an iPhone 6 at this point ... That's all I'm saying...

Fair enough. Although I guess in reality neither of us actually answered op's main concern which was battery life lol. In all honestly not too sure on that one, especially if he/she isn't going with the plus size.

Coming from the 6 plus I would say the 6s plus is a welcome upgrade in every aspect. The camera is just incredible and I'm liking the 3D Touch. The phone feels great to hold with the new aluminum and the speed, my god the speed. With the increased RAM and A9 chip (made by TSMC of course) nothing can slow this phone down. Little things that would lag my 6+ are no match for the 6s+.

It reminds me of the jump in power when going to the 3GS after using a 3G or a 4S coming from a 4. Only it's even bigger. This is by far the best upgrade Apple has ever done.

Lol very true. However I will say I had great battery life with my iPhone 6 and I am having great life with the 6s Plus. I will say however during the week my phone is not used so much.

So you bought a 6S+, sold your 6+, returning the 6S+, buying the 6+?! WTF?!
Yes....I sold my 6+, just before I received my 6S +, for 670.00 ...so since I want impressed by. The 6s +, I returned it ..I could not justify the 230 price difference....I just repurchased my old 6+, for 530....so at. End of day I made 140 .....I will put that towards the iPhone 7

$230?? The fact that the safari and app reloads don't happen is at least $150 worth right there. The difference in speed is worth $75 at least ... That's $225 right there.... Then the aluminum is much stronger and.... The multiple other things that makes this the most impressive "S" upgrade by a long shot

It baffles me how some people can't see much difference between the i6 and the 6S. Aside from the looks it's a completely different, and much better phone.

I agree 100%. I don't understand how someone could hold a 6Plus and 6sPlus best to each other and not see the differences in the phone...

Look past the aesthetics of the phone please because underneath it's a whole new beast!

It also greatly depends on usage case. For example, my daily use is a fair amount of email and web browsing, tinkering (Thanks Pangu team!) and FaceTime. For me, there isn't a huge difference between the 6 and the 6s. I'm also not one to have more than two tabs open at a time.

There's a constant stream of misinformation about extra RAM only being helpful if you have umpteen tabs open.
My web browsing has massively improved even just using one browser tab. No crashes, no failure to fully load a page, no scrolling issues and much faster to load the site. Browsing is 100% better on the 6S+ in every way, and the icing on the cake is keeping apps in memory. My iPhone use is 90%+ web browsing and I positively loathed my 6+.

Might be a different experience with the 6S+, but I've never come across any of the above with my 6. While faster loading pages would be nice, I've never accused the 6 of being slow.

You can go with the 6s, it gained huge improvements from software to hardware and it's noticeable.
