well, considering the title of the thread, and the fact i'm posting a speed test, it should tell you that i have a verizon iphone 7 (in this case a plus) and i'm getting amazing speeds.
the entire reason i went from at&t to VZ was because in midtown i get 30-60mb on VZ and 300k on AT&T.
I apologize. I misunderstood your original message. I thought you were indicating the iPhone 7 was slow. And I'm also on Verizon and It's plenty fast. But I don't believe this article is click bait. The OP believes their iPhone is throttled.
