Same here. Still in processing hell. Funny thing is I chatted with Apple yesterday and the agent said that there's a high chance my order will be charged and shipped "later tonight." It's been more than 24 hours since and nothing.
I just don't understand how Apple is shipping out more Jet Black orders on ATT and Verizon, especially ATT given it's the same model. Getting a little sick of seeing the mid-October orders getting filled.
I probably don't need to ask, but can you please post when you go to shipped status a/o see tracking on UPS my choice? From other threads, it sounds like it takes 24-36 hours before it goes to shipped and sometimes you get some magic where it was already shipped days ago and arrives quicker than the usual slog through Asia.
We will be able to confirm that expedited shipping is inconsequential too with you as the control.

Totally agree, especially on the AT&T front. I also disagree with upgrade program folks getting prioritized on reservations, even with the preorder snafus. I understand it somewhat this year, but I wonder if this will carry forward to the future after they fix the issue. Hope it doesn't set a precedent. There's clearly room for improvement operationally.
Having no stock on a new color at launch, but moving forward to book orders before quarter's end isn't sweet.
I received a shipping notification from Apple with tracking numbers at 4:11 AM EDT. They both show a origin scan in China but no ETA yet. I will of course update as relevant information from UPS gets posted.
I think we have a very good shot at getting deliveries at the end of this week. Worst case, it's maybe early next week. We have waited two weeks and a couple more days is not a big deal.
Damn, my email is at 3:15AM EST, ordered on apple website, TMO JB 7+ 128, paid with apple gift cards, and nothing, still says processing, no email / tracking etc... How is that possible, Apple confirmed me they respect priority for similar orders. Payment types really shouldn't be part of those variables

UPS tracking details haven't been very useful as it shows it's been sitting in China for over a day. Several people have reported that there are updating issues and sometimes it goes from China to Knoxville suddenly. I think that's the case for me as UPS has given me an actual ETA now of end of day 9/30. I live in NYC BTW.
As far as the expedited debate goes, I think this proves that there is no difference for new iPhone pre-orders at least. If indeed it gets delivered tomorrow, than the transit time would be about 2 days from China. I find it impossible to believe that some orders that were expedited were delivering in 1 day from China. As suspected, all of the deliveries in this situation are "expedited."
Yup, totally agree expedited shipping means nothing.
I've been sucked into the game of checking flightaware. My phone is on its way from South Korea to Anchorage to Louisville. I bet yours is too. As long as it doesn't get held up in customs, it's likely we get our phones tomorrow. I'm in San Francisco FYI.
UPS showed a Monday delivery for me, but it's now pending a recalcuation, so hoping for the best. I think it's because the South Korean flight was delayed 4 hours.
