I'm in the same boat. Wert de Furk!

The plane was likely delayed in customs, or even possibly had a mechanical delay. It happens. Updated info could come as soon as it actually lands in AK, or maybe even sooner.

There currently aren't any flights from China in the air right now, so either our plane hasn't left yet or it's already landed in the states. My guess is that it hasn't departed China yet though.

Seeing as my package originally departed China at 10:25 and then arrived back to the same location at 11:00 makes me thing there was a problem with the plane and they have to fix it.

Let's all just face the fact. Our shipment of iPhones has been hijacked.

That reminds me when was expecting a package, I got a shipping notification that says "train derailed". Few weeks later it still got delivered with the box all severely beaten up. It looked like it went through hell and back.

Mine was scheduled to arrive Wednesday, the 21st. Now delayed to Thursday, the 22nd. Oh well, good thing I did a store pick up of a 7+ Matte Black Verizon model this morning. 10 minutes total and I was out of the Apple Store. Thursday's shipment of the 7+ Matte Black Tmobile variant is getting returned.

My phone arrived in Louisville at 1:45am

Ummmm....no dude, that's *my* phone, I know because I read it on my app, 1:45 AM in "Low-ville". Don't be trying to jack my phone now brah.

If it goes out for delivery tomorrow, I'll miss it. But if it sticks to the schedule of Wednesday, I'll be around and all will be peachy. Not going to bend over backwards and inside out-freak out just for a phone, life is so much more rich than that...

Like many others who have already posted - I received the UPS notification that my 9/20 delivery is being rescheduled. No further information. And no real surprise. It would have been nice to see tracking suddenly update to the U.S., but that's only been my experience when I received my phone on launch day.

I gotta say, if I had known the pre-order process was going to be such a pain this year, I would have taken my chances with the reservation system. Between Apple's short supply and the (apparent) bad weather in China, I'm not counting on seeing my new phone any time soon.

PS: I'm assuming the absence of an actual delivery date is the reason I didn't receive a notification from UPS notifying me of the change. Did anyone else previously scheduled for 9/20 receive a notification related to this change. Just curious.

I don't know why you guys don't understand that sometimes the tracking doesn't update. I should probably just stop checking this thread lol

So...care to revise your statement? Maybe you can quote some additional language from the UPS FAQs. Prime example of why being a smartass is risky proposition. It's bad enough to come across like a jerk. Even worse to be an uninformed jerk.
