10 hours from Korea to Anchorage
7 hours from Anchorage to Louisville
5 hours from Louisville to Oakland

Oakland is where my packages from UPS are typically dispatched from.
Not looking to good for a delivery tomorrow :(

I'm in the Bay Area too. Looks like a Thursday delivery it is.

UPS99 arrives at Louisville at 12:40ish EST AM, that gives you about 8 hours to reach Oakland. I think you have a pretty good chance of getting it tomorrow.

For anyone who was scanned as leaving Korea (UPS99)

(Korea) KIX-ANC (Alaska) is only 6.5 hours, and it's already been in the air for 2 hours, so in roughly 4.5 hours it will land in Anchorage.
There will be some time for refueling.
ANC-SDF (Kentucky) is only 5.5 hours.

It will be in Kentucky at ~Midnight. I haven't tracked international UPS to west coast before, but I'd say a pretty good chance of that getting delivered later in the day tomorrow.

On the east coast, has a 90% chance of delivery tomorrow.

If your phone was NOT scanned as leaving korea, you probably won't get it tomorrow ... UPS/Apple ships these things by the pallet from China to Louisville, and it is only taken out of pallets once it gets to Louisville. Until they are broken up for re-sorting in Louisville, they are scanned by the pallet, not individually. So, it's unlikely for them to "miss a couple" of scans.

Once it makes it to Louisville, the pallets get broken up and re-sorted, and your item will track individually.

That's some good thinking ... sorry I haven't had coffee yet this morning, ha!

True, unless there is another flight from Korea to Alaska very shortly...very unlikely though :(

last know location of my phone is still in china! It says "packaged shipped, delivery being scheduled"

OK I AM BEYOND pissed off! Even though I got my pkg shipped earlier than the others, the others got their departure scan from Korea and I still have that stupid yellow page! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!

It's a possibility that there is a delay in scanning/updating. I have pre-ordered for years, and a delayed update happens nearly every year. But this pre-order cycle is different in so many ways, I wouldn't bet on it. But it's possible...

Hell yes!! After UPS99 lands in Kentucky at 12:49am EST there has just been a flight scheduled to Houston at 3:01am EST. I'm gettin' my baby tomorrow!!

I'm totally confused on apple process. I ordered mine, my husbands and my moms all within 15 minutes of preorder start time. Mine and my husbands are on the same account yet they have shipped separately. His made it to Korea and I got the dreaded delivery rescheduled message. My moms was the last order I placed because it was on a different account and she received hers yesterday.

My phone had a Wednesday delivery date on UPS mychoice but made it all the way from Zhenzhou to Inchon to Anchorage to Louisville last night and made it to the morning Oakland flight and is out for delivery today. This even included a mechanical delay on UPS99 ANC-SDF.

So nextday delivery is totally feasible from Zhenzhou once it starts travelling.
