Haven't looked that up yet.... but I will.
I noticed it when the phone was close to my face. My AC in my house is kind of loud but if it wasn't. I would bet I could hear from 1-3 feet away if I was listening for it.
But it was only when my phone was under heavy load. Downloading apps, photos, emails. Now I can't hear it.
As long as it's working great and your screen is good hopefully it doesn't come back
Is there a new site to check production week. I used the chipmunk site in the past but it wasn't able to decode my serial.
Or do you know what characters are the production week?

So from Louisville to Texas and out for delivery in about 3 hours.
This makes me believe that, yes, UPS is trying its damndest to get these phones in your hands.

It's easy to say that when you got lucky and everything went smoothly. Most of us have had a VERY different experience.
I just looked up the production week of my phone and saw that the production week is 37 Should I get worried? Or? (I really have no idea about the weeks lol)

glad you got a good screen. I have a week 37 unit coming tomorrow or Thursday so crossing my fingers.
Do we know which weeks production units has yellow/dim screens? I am also week 37.
I've stopped reading most of the forum for now because the hissing and yellow screen anxiety is getting to me.
Not really. No one is reporting what build weeks theirs are. Although I've managed to play with a few demo units at Best Buy and the screens aren't as bad as being reported. Maybe they were good units, but I've compared my 6+ to a 7+ and while the 7+ shows a little yellow, it isn't obvious unless you put them side by side. The brightness was almost comparable with the 7+ being a little brighter. Haven't checked what build weeks they were though, but I assume the ones reporting issues were the launch productions with a much earlier build weeks than ours.
You are right. It isn't obvious unless the two models are next to each other. I thought mine was perfectly fine. I compared it to my 6S+ and it is slightly warmer but doesn't appear to be 'yellow'.
Status just got updated from "Scheduled delivery information not available" to delivery on the 21st. Phone currently in Louisville with final destination to Socal. Seems unlikely, given the flights from Louisville to SoCal, but possible. We'll see....
