Boom! Import Scan and set for delivery 9/21!! Stoked.

Most here should get them tomorrow.

it's in Louisville at the moment! WOWZA! It's a huge leap from China.

Update: it left Louisville for New York and currently in UPS1112. HUZZAAAAH! it will be probably delivered tomorrow!

Louiville to HK....wait whut?

I'm seriously hoping something is messed up in their tracking or something...

My phone departure scanned from Louisville at 4:31 to Atlanta, wonder which flight it's on.

Mine shows the same thing lol. It's a time zone thing, but I have no idea where the HK departure is. They flew it direct from HK to Louisville and it arrived in Louisville "before" it left HK.
 
Overnight I got the dreaded reschedule delivery update after waiting for two days seeing it just sit in China. So who knows when I'll get the damn thing. Good job Apple and UPS.
 
Says today by end of day!!!! Now hopefully UPS doesn't fumble the ball and brings it before my work closes.

Weird I have an import scan to Louisville at 3:26AM, but the tracking shows no departure scan from Louisville or import scan at Oakland...

Well my phone is in hapeville,ga and live in GA, so we'll see. Still no scheduled shipping date yet.

From Louisville to Oakland and end of day deliver5 with an import scan @ 3:26 am. Excellent.

I think ups must be loading trucks even after normal route starts specifically for iPhones. I remember some posts about iPhone-only trucks used by one of the shipping partners for Apple. I think maybe DHL or something.

UPS sure doesn't want thousands of iPhones sitting around, either. It uses valuable space and is also a very sought after product ripe for theft while in their facilities.

What do you make of the tracking? Arrival and import scan??

UPS 946 left from Louisville at 3:58AM and is due in Oakland at 5:06AM. Hope I'm on this flight

I believe arrival is the airport, and I believe import is the UPS distribution center. They are separate entities. The distribution center is technologically advanced beyond comprehension. Good chance you are on the flight.

I have almost identical tracking with delivery in Norwalk Ohio which is about 500 miles from Louisville.

Just revived my memory. UPS Worldport.


This is why I laugh when people complain and say boycott UPS b
