Still no scan out of Incheon, Korea and UPS 99 is almost at Anchorage....Is that bad news?
I know this doesnt help, but i was just at an Apple store (played hookey from work to await delivery...) and they had all 7+ in ONLY rose gold and gold. Seems thats the color most people dont want in my area. I was almost about to cave and say to give me a gold but im standing my ground. I made the same mistake last year for a Gold 6S+ and regretted it every day. Hope you get delivery real soon.Hi folks- newbie here! I ordered late, 11:27am on 9/9 a 128GB rose gold 7+. Original delivery estimate 9/27-9/29.
Here's a few facts I'm aware of:

- Apple orders are shipping (non-expedited) via "UPS Worldwide Express Saver"- I'm in the Midwest thus guaranteed 2-3 business day delivery.
- However my phone hit "Order Processed: Ready for UPS" on 9/18 at 7:55 a.m. This means nothing. If you notice, the "Your package is in transit" status is when the guaranteed X business day delivery countdown starts. Mine hit this on 9/20 at 3:51 p.m.
- On the Apple site, if you look at tracking, they state it hit "Shipment in Transit" status on 9/20 (however above states 9/18/16), going off the 9/20 date, it must be delivered by 9/23.
- I got hopeful when I saw the 9/21 2:19 a.m. Louisville scan. However it wouldn't be an "Arrival Scan" it should be an "Import Scan"... I believe this is an error and my phone is still in Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong.
- With the natural disaster, the national holiday, and many carriers reporting 5+ times more pre-orders this year than last, it's natural that they have hundreds of thousands of phones on pallets just waiting for aircraft's to carry them over. It's expensive, logistically challenging, and they are doing the best they can. As it's still tracking well before my confirmation email delivery date- I consider myself lucky.
- I'm normally an early launch orderer but didn't care that much this year. However, just goes to show that you catch more zz's, order on your lunch hour, and still get it in a reasonable amount of time.
- UPS chat agent this morning confirmed my phone would not be available for pickup today.
- I expect it to move tonight and delivered tomorrow.

Still no departure notice for me!!!!!Hope I'm on that flight!!!
It departed Louisville
Their systems are probably overloaded with 1000's of calls asking why there is no scan info between China and KY.I'm still trying to understand how there's no scan info between China and KY!!! I worked for UPS IT 20 years ago, and recall it being a TIGHTER SHIP than what it is now... Hell, I don't think they used that slogan anymore, now I can see why!!![]()
It's here! It's FINALLY HERE!!!
If it is of any consolation, I almost went for the same thing -I would have settled for silver. But I staying firm with black. One more day!
It's come to this; I'm not proud. I have UPS63's approach to Anchorage up via FlightAware. I was watching it make a bee-line for the airport, showing 3 minutes out. I was excited for no reasonable reason. Then it abruptly turns north. I was disappointed for no reasonable reason. Now, just now, as I type this, it has turned south on what appears to be it's final approach.
I'm excited again. If I weren't so amused, I'd be terribly disappointed in myself!
