My original delivery was scheduled for today. Yesterday, that got bumped to Friday. This morning, while I finally moved from China to Korea, I now have no scheduled delivery date. Wow, I'm really losing interest in this phone and the entire process.
So hopefully we will take this flight > https://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS99
I just want to get my phone by tomorrow.
Not sure how all these phones got out of Kentucky and mine got stuck there.
Got stuck in China
Stuck in Korea
Now add Louisville to the list
Welp
Just as I sent that I've arrived in Greensboro
If it made it there I'll get it today
[doublepost=1474544385][/doublepost]The engineer in me really wonders what caused all this.
The most likely scenario in my mind is the rushed it a week to try to take advantage of Samsungs exploding batteries
Samsung didn't have any bearing on this launch. Apple could have taken preorders like normal and waited two weeks to deliver the first phones as they did last year.
They more than likely had the launch planned as usual but didn't get many phones manufactured until late in the process and are now jamming UPS with horses of phones that UPS can't handle.
I recall many people's shipments originating here in the States last year for the initial loads.
What the hell does that mean?!Talking to UPS right now and here is what they told me....
Thank you for patiently waiting. I deeply apologize for the delay and the inconvenience this delay may cause. It seems that all Apple packages have encountered a delay in transit due to Apple operating plans and the delivery dates are being affected.
Well mine just updated and says rescheduled. Awesome...
Hasn't left yet??
I was told this same thing. UPS is blaming Apple for the delays.Talking to UPS right now and here is what they told me....
