Out for delivery!!!!

Mine is stuck in Korea too. Going out of town for the weekend, was hoping to have by tomorrow to take with me and give the camera a work out.

My original delivery was scheduled for today. Yesterday, that got bumped to Friday. This morning, while I finally moved from China to Korea, I now have no scheduled delivery date. Wow, I'm really losing interest in this phone and the entire process.

Out for delivery today. My driver always delivers around 7:00 pm, so it's going to be a long day. But at least is almost here.

Definitely leaving a bad impression... I saw threads from 2014 with similar issues, I don't expect the next release to be any better.

So hopefully we will take this flight > https://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS99

I just want to get my phone by tomorrow.

Would we have a departure scan by now, if it was scheduled for that flight?? Or does it follow after the plane is airborn??

Not sure how all these phones got out of Kentucky and mine got stuck there.

Got stuck in China
Stuck in Korea
Now add Louisville to the list

Welp
Just as I sent that I've arrived in Greensboro
If it made it there I'll get it today
[doublepost=1474544385][/doublepost]The engineer in me really wonders what caused all this.

The most likely scenario in my mind is the rushed it a week to try to take advantage of Samsungs exploding batteries

Samsung didn't have any bearing on this launch. Apple could have taken preorders like normal and waited two weeks to deliver the first phones as they did last year.

They more than likely had the launch planned as usual but didn't get many phones manufactured until late in the process and are now jamming UPS with horses of phones that UPS can't handle.

I recall many people's shipments originating here in the States last year for the initial loads.

a logical scenario, just weird after last year having zero issues (personally) and even the year before which was nuts, but i believe that was a 1 week gap.
i remember for the 6 release both of our phones were already in america

I think from what i've been reading Apple original launch date was the 23rd and they tried to capitalize on the whole Samsung problems and launch earlier which in retro spec to us was a huge faulire leaving a bad taste is everyone's mouth. This is something I don't think Steve would of done but Apple has turned in a money locomotive and needs to gain the smallest advantage in very case, it just so happens this year it didn't work out like they had hoped:(

Talking to UPS right now and here is what they told me....

Thank you for patiently waiting. I deeply apologize for the delay and the inconvenience this delay may cause. It seems that all Apple packages have encountered a delay in transit due to Apple operating plans and the delivery dates are being affected.

Mine went from Louisville to On Truck For delivery. Sweet! I was a little skeptical it would be delivered today seeing it took forever then arrived in KY at 1:15am. **** went fast.

iPhone in my hands! Made it to my local hub at 8:23am and I picked it up on my way to work at 9am. I'm impressed considering it made it to KY at 1:15 am, in my hands less than 8 hours later.

Good luck to the others, I hope they deliver tomorrow and not have to wait another weekend!

I was told this same thing. UPS is blaming Apple for the delays.
