Has anybody who does not see their phone in support profile been able to track it yet? Mine has been preparing for shipment since late Friday... Ordered via Apple App at about 3:05am EST, got email confirmation at 3:08am...

I am. Ordered 2 non-plusses, a silver 256gb and a gold 128gb, both scheduled for 9/16. One phone showed up in my support profile yesterday (but I can't tell which; the photo is of a black phone, so it must just be a generic photo regardless of color ordered).

They must be generic photos because my iPhone 6 and my watch show totally different colors than what I have...

Sorry, but just using the app isn't full-proof. It definitely works more frequently than the full Apple site, but it doesn't always come up in 3 minutes. The tips are tips, but they don't have any guarantee of success.

My apps on the iPad Pro and my iPhone 6s Plus never came up til mid afternoon. But I got in 15 after in Safari on Mac

I just got on mine and it is showing the serial number and everything so its a good sign its on its way! Ordered 7+ 256GB Gold ATT at 0325am EST

HAS ANYONE HAD ANY JET BLACK 7 PLUS MOVEMENT YET?

I found movement through the UPS tracking trick. Go to UPS Tracking, select Track by Reference, enter your Apple order number, but leave off the last two digits and don't put in other details such at zip code.

This might locate your phone in the system.

I am trading my old phones (a 32GB 5s and a 128GB 6) on the Apple Trade Up site. I know you can do better by selling on CL/eBay, etc, but I hate all of the hassle. This makes it all simple. They will give me $225 for the 6 and $125 for the 5S. Good enough for me.

Any chance some of these are being shipped by FedEx? My card was charged on Saturday, the phone has been in my profile all day today and it delivers 9/16. Nothing on UPS. Nothing on FedEx yet either, but I'm curious why I can't find it lol.

To the people who pay for the phones outright, when you want to get a new phone, do you just sell yours? Do you get a good return on what you paid? Are you getting the new phones every year? I always wondered if there was a benefit to paying for it up front vs paying monthly, besides obviously not paying monthly. Just curious, thanks!

I've always sold my "older" phone. Usually on eBay or Swappa and I get pretty good for them. I got $685 for my Space Gray 6S 128GB in mint condition. However I've come to the conclusion that since I upgrade literally every year, and sometimes it's a hassle to sell my phone, I will be doing the Next Every Year with AT&T. That way I can upgrade every year and just trade-in my previous phone.

Craigslist is terrifying...I've heard too many stories of the buyer showing up and holding the seller at gunpoint and stealing the item. Meet at a police station for sure. I've had great luck with eBay for years...I've sold hundreds of items on eBay and never had a scammer. However, I sold my iPhone 6 last year on Swappa and it was a great experience. I'll be doing the same with my 6s Plus this year.

This. Always meet at police station. I always do that. Sell 10-15 things a year on craigslist. My first message is to meet at police station or the deal is off. I have met just one guy in a target starbucks because the guy was a doctor and everything checked out when I googled his name.

I would say its more scammers on Craigslist than eBay.....

My first message to the buyer is that we have the deal if we are meeting up at the police station, my listings mention it too. Filters out the scammers.

Google "Apple Support Profile" and go to the first one that comes up. Enter your Apple ID. The site will list all Apple devices you own. Some people are seeing their new iPhone already listed. Its a good sign since a specific serial number is assigned to you which leads people to believe it is coming 9/16.

They have website Spigen.com and they have official stores on eBay and Amazon where their cases are usually cheaper. I got this one from eBay. They do have gold cases but I don't think they have gold in this specific case.

A friend of mine, when he buys concert or sporting event tickets on CL, asks the buyer/seller where they work. Then he Googles the main line of the company, calls the number and asks to be connected to that employee. It doesn't work all of the time if people are self-employed, unemployed, work out in the field, etc., but it is a pretty good way to filter out scammers. Especially if you can get them to email from their work address. Not that it all couldn't be faked, but it would be tough, especially on the spot.

Just ordered this and a unicorn beetle case. Love the unicorn beetle. Had one for my 6 and 6S.
