Can't echo this sentiment enough, even if you only use it at launch time. The shipments just magically appear in the app. I still don't have notification from Apple that anything has shipped, but I've been watching it in MyChoice for 2 days.

I was counting Monday as the 1st business day...did the count start on the 9th?

I think we should, pre orders started 12:01 PST in the USA. Apple is open for business @9:00 am PST. So Friday should count as the first day.

I shouldve just ordered a gold or rose gold one. I use a case on mine anyways. I just really like the all-black front that make the phone look like one solid color when off. But do I like it enough to not get a phone for 2-3 weeks after launch? Not sure.

thanks! i just did it. it now says "delivery change request" when i track it. when do i know they've "accepted" it?

Mine is showing the same thing. I submitted the request on Sunday and still nothing. I did call UPS, though, and the International rep confirmed that they are set to hold my package at the hub near my house. Not sure why it's not displaying that information on the app or the website, though. I'll probably call again tomorrow morning just to make sure before I head there Friday morning.

Great! As long as it says "hold for pickup" under delivery change requested you're good. It will say it in the shipment progress once it gets to the customer center. You didn't pick a store right?

I'm getting a little worried, i ordered at 3:09 AM and it says that it will deliver on Fri the 16th, but I haven't received a notification that it has been shipped...😱

My 7+ is still showing to be "preparing for shipment". It's sitting in Louisville, KY, right now. I'd say no worries.

Same boat for me, apple.com still says "Preparing for shipment". But the UPS app is telling me (based on my address) that it is well on its way, currently in Louisville, KY. So try that.

What's strange is mine doesn't show up in MyChoice for my address. I've only been able to track it by reference on UPS and by using the Parcel app since Monday.

Deliveries start in two days and stuff from China can be delivered next day. China to Alaska to Louisville takes less than 20 hours.

Ordered a 7+ 256/black/AT&T, received confirmation email at 3:12AM ET with a delivery date of 27-29 September. Order shows "Processing Items" and there is a pending charge on my AMEX for the full amount as expected -- all good so far.

Here's where it gets strange:
Got a notification from Fedex that a package is on its way for delivery on 16 September from Pacoima, CA. Every other year I've pre-ordered, I've been following UPS planes from China through Alaska, etc. like everyone else, so this has thrown me for a bit of a loop.

I don't have any cases or anything else on order at the moment, so I'm assuming this is coming from some weird stash of phones that was already in the states? Anyone else experiencing this?

So I don't know what I'm tracking. I ordered watch and phone.
I have 4 pkgs coming Friday. from china: 2 are 1.5kgs and another .5kg. A 4th is coming from CA and is 1lb.
Does Apple care come UPS? If so, woo hoo, my apple care is in KY. Everything else is ready for UPS to pick up in china. They are from Apple inc c-o techno computer.

This is a good question. Anybody know if Apple ships Applecare? I ordered my iPhone along with Applecare as well, wondering how it will get to us...

In case no-one answered you. Applecare is auto-registered with device and paired to your device serial number, as nothing is shipped anymore for that. Could it be a case?

Hmm, the image, shows the colour. Example, my iPad Air II, shows in Black, same as my iPhone 6s Plus and now my iPhone 7 Plus...

if you dont mind can you give the serial number or the format to find what color one is from your support proifle it just says serial and model not color

I ordered the same exact phone, and I have not received anything. I thought all Apple products ship via UPS?
