Happy to report I am now Preparing for Shipment even though my delivery date is "Delivers 23 Sep, 2016 - 30 Sep, 2016 by Standard Shipping". Also pops up in UPS. *waits*

Not necessarily. There's still a chance, as occurred in the past, that you will get it tomorrow.

Outside of that you will have to count business days, not days. 9/21 is still a good bet if you do not get surprised tomorrow.

Yep, I did this on Tuesday. Ordered using the Apple Store app and chose pick up in store for my iPhone 7 silicon case. Went and grabbed it after work. Last time I preordered my iPhone I just assumed I would be able to grab a case in the store when I picked up my phone. They were sold out and even if they weren't it would've been a nightmare trying to check out. I learned my lesson this time.

What's funny is the employees were surprised that they even had them in the back. When I told them I was there to pick up my iPhone 7 case they told me that they didn't have any yet. I told them that I hoped they did since I got a confirmation saying that it was ready for pickup. A guy from the back brought it out to me in an Apple bag and I was on my way. I'm already using it on my iPhone 6. Everything fits perfectly except the camera. So the iPhone 7 will be the exact same size as the 6 and 6S. Same button placement and everything. The only difference is the camera size.

JB 7 plus 256 ATT. Originally Sept 26 - Oct 3, now Sept 23 - 30. Email confirm 12:10 Pacific time. Still Processing though.

I got a departure scan from KY at 2:31PM. I can't figure what flight it took out, though, because there's no big hub close. Louisville is only a few hours away, so maybe it's coming via truck or other aircraft to get closer. Every year I've done the preorder game, it went to a different city from Louisville before getting to me. So this part is a random gamble.

Same specs as yours, with delivery of 9/27-29. This afternoon my status changed to "Preparing For Shipment" and my CC was charged. I am hopeful that I will see my phone sometime next week instead of the stated delivery dates.
 
My phones just left Louisville so I'm assuming they will make it to Ontario tonight and be out for delivery tomorrow.

I think we'll definitely get them before the stated delivery dates. I'm just wondering if there's an off chance we'll get them in the next few days?
 
I ordered 7+, Black 256gb at 2:07am CT. Shipping has been Sept 23-27 (I upgraded shipping for $10) and my card just got charged. Status is preparing for ship FYI - They did not charge me the $10 shipping charge.

I don't think i'll get mine before the stated delivery dates (sep 20-22). My order isn't even preparing for shipment. ugh.
