Same here! What the hell is going on with this shipment? Makes no sense at all. By all accounts these should be delivered today. I have never seen such horrible handling by UPS.

Cool! I won't see mine today. Truck is still not checked in at the center near me. Needs to be processed by 6 AM CDT to go out for delivery, based on past experience.
You and I are on the same boat. Still processing for me too 🙁 although mine was the 256g version unlocked GSM.
I've been lurking on this thread tracking my pkg along with the rest of you for about a week. Curious if everyone who has spoken with a rep used the standard UPS number. I've never had any luck trying to figure out the number to our local hub. My phone was on the UPS99 flight and showed arrival in my town about 40min ago. It's showing the Oct 11 delivery date like many of you. I tried to do a hold for pickup assuming maybe if it was processed and held at the hub today then I can have it in my hands by 6pm closing time. It only gave me the option to pick up on expected delivery date. I called UPS and spoke with two different people. The first lady said that it still shows a transit time of two days meaning that it will be delivered on the 11th. She also said that it won't be at the hub until it shows "Destination Scan". She didn't specify how long that could take. She also said that I wouldn't even be able to do a hold for pick up because apparently the sender, which I assume she means Apple, has requested that pick up not be available which is obviously a lie because many other people have been able to pick up their packages at their local UPS stores or hubs.
The second lady that I spoke with basically told me that the destination scan wouldn't occur until the delivery date itself. I asked her if it was at all possible that it could happen today and once that destination scan popped up could I go in and make that old for pickup change. She said no.
So basically I got no help. I've noticed a few of you have just mentioned that your dates changed from 11 to today so I'm hoping that happens in my case. Fingers crossed!

I spoke to Apple why some orders are getting into PFS early, even when they have ordered late.
There are possibilities which depending on Colour, Storage GBs etc.
It could also be that someone cancelled and that person's order got shifted early.
Apple also said, there are cancellations going on since people are picking it up from the stores.
It could also be a possibility that online it won't show any stock but the stores might have. They get sold really quick.
I've been told that just before 10/25 like 2-3 days before it should go into PFS. This is just an estimated time delivery, it could be much more sooner also but they don't want to give the false guarantee.
Also, I've been told, Jet Black is in huge demand and may take some time.
Hope this helps everyone.
Same issues I've had - different story every time to talk or chat with someone at UPS. They are making an issue that's really between them and Apple OUR issue, which makes it tough to swallow. I don't know if anything can be done - if it didn't take over 40 minutes to get to my UPS hub, I might just try to go there directly.

I called to see if they could give me the contact number for my local hub because I figured it'd be easier to schedule that pickup directly through them. They said that they didn't even know the numbers to the local hubs and the generic number we call is the only contact number for us to get any kind of help. Kind of frustrating to say the least.

yay! Just got the destination scan about 10 min ago and shows it's out for delivery. I knew there was no way it was going to just sit around for two days. Think there's hope for the rest of y'all that had early arrivals to your cities
Looks like a Friday surprise for many of us! Both of the phones I ordered are out for Delivery today! In Dallas.
If I do in fact receive today, my original shipment window will have been beat.

I find it funny that on my fake delivery date (when UPS said oh yes its coming today, when really it was sitting in Korea) I was able to pick and pay for a 2-hour delivery window.
But today, on my actual delivery date, that's not an option anymore.

Was very upset this morning when I checked the tracking and the phone said I would get it on tuesday. I didnt understand how it got from Alaska to NJ in less then 18 hours. but it would take 4 whole days to arrive from NJ to NYC. Well when i got off the train this morning I checked it again and sure enough ..OUT FOR DELIVERY.
My wife who is also 2 days past her due date is now starting to feel contractions, knowing my luck I will have to leave work before my iphone arrives..LOL..I told my wife I would wait for the phone, so we can take pictures of our new arrival with the 7 plus camera..She told me to use hers lol
