Based on my experience last year we are likely to see more emails tomorrow an tomorrow evening. I got my shipping emails last year on the Thursday before launch day - one email at 6:48 AM, CT - the other at 7:19 PM, CT. Both phones were delivered by Fedex on launch day, 9/25/15.
And the encouraging part for us now is that my original estimated shipping date was 10/16/2015 to 10/23/2015.

So if we ordered from ATT our phones will show up in apple support profile? I thought that only happened when the order was from Apple.

I said this earlier in the thread, I ordered my 6S+ last September 30th, got a "Your items are on the way" Email on October 1st, they overnighted them(Phone and Case) to me on Friday, October 2nd, got them before 11AM EST, as my FedEx is right down the road from me. So yes there is hope, just diheartenning at times, you'd think Apple and ATT would prepare for this better. If you have a pre-order event, the idea is to have those phones ordered early on to the customers on Launch day.
Yeah I feel so dumb to be so impatient. But I always schedule my ebaying of the old phone to be phoneless during this week. This year it seems like it may not have been a good choice. Hope I'm not losing any business from not being reachable by phone. Fingers crossed to at least get my 256 + Matte black next week despite a Sept 23rd date...
As far as I've seen, no. Only Apple orders show up in your profile, as those phones never leave the Apple/UPS system. Carrier orders must be dropped shipped to carrier warehouses and fulfillment centers for inventory control, then, back out to the delivery services.
For me it was simple. Not only did their ordering process (especially for the Upgrade Program) cause me tons of errors, but their site literally wasn't available until 3:15am ET (whereas AT&T was).
I got my wife's in at ~8:30am and then mine in at ~12:30pm (had other things going on).
Our setup:

Shipping 9/23 - 9/30
Yea that's what I get for going big this year - I had a 64gb last year and got it right on launch day no problem I decided hell I'll get the big one this year for a few dollars more a month - I had a thought maybe that they have only a certain amount of the ones that we got in stock so in hopes of not many people buying it that they would say it's delayed like the end of September or end of October whatever and then all the sudden on launch day we get it Haha

With my first preorder I ordered a black and a silver 6+ and was given a ship date in the middle of October but received them on launch day so I, too, am hoping that's the case again this time.Came here to see if anyone else had this issue.

Ordered about 3 hours after AT&T preorders went online. Have had "preparing for shipment" status for days.
Was quoted Sep 30 - Oct 7 for arrival but alas.....nothing.

I think it's a matter of user confusion.
I don't think AT&T is initially providing delivery dates until after a device ships. Then again, I don't know yet

so after reading 100 pages of madness all I learned was, Me and some other people who stayed up till 3 in the morning, was for nothing. We are not going to receive our phones on launch day, the photos below explain what I'm dealing with all I want is for someone to keep me calm and call me pretty.

Thats what I thought, but it might be a little different this time around, theres always hope for early morning, early afternoon tomorrow...I haven't given up...yet.
Same exact dates and model, my order was something like 3:57AM EST. I'm going mad too. Let's hope those flights that are coming are for us and ours ship tomorrow!
