Still no tracking number yet my card was charged yesterday. Original ship date was 9/29-10-7. No update anywhere.
By the way guys they shipped my phone the other day and still haven't charged my card. The hold had expired / fallen off on Tuesday lol. Seems like they're doing their best to get everyone's phones out as fast as possible.
Well I've resigned myself to the idea that there's no way I'm getting bumped into the launch day bracket. It's cool though, I still have my 6S Plus and I'm enjoying tinkering with iOS10 and WatchOS3 for now. It'll arrive when it arrives. Hopefully AT&T comes through for everyone else that's waiting as well.
You know... The earlier you cancel, it moves up the order queue and helps out a lot of poor chaps that are after you....lol

Some calming down is needed in this thread. Not one single person (myself included) was quoted a delivery date of the 16th for a Jet Black Plus. So when absolutely none are shipped or delivered tomorrow, no one has wronged anyone.
Granted I will be extremely surprised if that turns out to be the case, but nevertheless it's what we were told to expect before even placing the orders.

Some food for thought. Ordered my Jet Black Plus 256GB through ATT at around 3am EST.
In a rush, chose the wrong plan. Called ATT Monday and a rep promised, he could override the system and get me a phone for launch. Spent an hour on the phone with him canceling and reordering, and sang his praises to a supervisor after. Heres the kicker, check out my order time according to ATT.

All 3 UPS planes from overnight have now arrived in Dallas. Last one landed about an hour ago. I'd say movement by lunch today or no luck.
I agree. Although I still have hope, it's looking more and more like the reality is that there will be no JB 7+ at launch. I too have a sneaking suspicion that there was never going to be. But why not say that? When they announced the AirPods with a late October release, no one freaked. If they would've announced that JB 7+ wouldn't be available until that same timeframe, people would've made their choices accordingly.
Did that status change overnight?
Even more strange, mine is going from Memphis to Louisville then back to Memphis to be put on a truck and delivered to me!!

From what I've seen, they usually ship shortly after being considered back-ordered.
Yes it very disappointing... I'm completely upset with Apple! If they didn't have the phones in stock or ready don't sell them yet. The could of easily said Jet Black alavible in October if they didn't have the iPhones ready. This kinda stuff that Apple has done makes me rather want to get a "Non explosive" Galaxy Note 7 version and call it a day!
