I ordered the 7+ Matte black 128 gig at 11:46 PST- yesterday it went into backorder status with the shipping date of 9/23 to 9/30 this afternoon around 3 PM Pacific time I got the email saying that it shipped with the tracking number delivery tomorrow so don't lose hope

I already gave up lol..no use in getting frustrated and mad when nothing is going to change.
Last year my 6+ shipped on release day & I got it that next Monday. Looks like it will be that way again. I'd be ok with that but I am also getting the same phones for my mother & sister, both in Memphis, & I was hoping to drive over Saturday to set up Mom's phone. We are going to Bikes, Blues, & BBQ next week so poor mom will have to wait another two weeks.

Now I just suspect after they decide whether you are among an allotment, the actual shipping process is possibly organized in a certain way, maybe by zip code? I have no idea how FedEx's warehouse work their way it's just my guess.

iPhone 7+ Silver 128GB Order 3:17am on 9/9. Was on back order for a little less then 4 hours.
No idea how they decide when to ship. I ordered 2 phones at 12:30PM on 9/9, both shipped earlier today, 7+ 128gb silver and a 7+ 128gb rose gold. My brother-in-law ordered a 7+ 128gb silver at 5:30am on 9/9 and still hasn't shipped yet
