Glad I pre-ordered one from them. I was gonna cancel it, now I'll use the $100 and tell them I don't want to wait LOL

i ordered exact same phone as you only much much earlier than you (1:53am cat to be exact) and i have a shipping window of 9/29-10/6. So the first come first serve this is a bunch of BS!

Sorry to sound salty, but this is absolute horse ****. I'm glad you got your tracking info, but I ordered the exact same phone but at 3:00am EST on the day pre orders went live, with the same shipping window, and haven't heard **** yet.
Again, nothing against you personally, but damn that kind of infuriates me.

Have a case, screen protector handy. As well as some snacks on hand.
You might want to unplug some easy to reach outlets so you can charge while you setup.
Do you have a backup ready to update your new 7?
You Might also want to shower and/or shave in advance. Oh and feed your pets - I've heard some folks don't lift their heads from the screen for days after their new iphone arrives.
new here. first time i ever pre-ordered and i'm wanting to be just as impatient as everyone else on here. ordered a 128 black 7+ on 9/9 at 3:40am and i'm still "pending shipment"
i'm not sure that i can ever do a pre-order again -- this is just too crazy...toying with my effin emotions. it's really disheartening at this point to see no status update. BUT! for what it's worth...last year, shortly after launch, i ordered the new 6s+ (on 9/21) and it was said i'd get it mid-october. i grew impatient and a few days later tried to cancel the order. it pretty much wouldn't let me cancel and so i called at&t to see what was up and if they could cancel it for me, as i was literally in best buy fixing to settle for a rose gold plus they had there...turns out, the order couldn't get cancelled because it was already shipped apparently, and then on the 26th i got an e-mail saying it was shipped (cannot recall if i called on the 26th or the day before). keep in mind, i had no notification of it being shipped and the status online kept saying it was pending shipment before i tried to cancel it. the phone arrived on the 29th. so, maybe there's still hope that i'll get a text [from someone who will be home all day tomorrow] telling me they delivered my phone and i can leave work?

9/23 to 9/30. Like it was last year. Honestly I think pre order is the dumbest idea ever conceived. Preorders should never have a set time to begin because that essentially negates the point of the preorder. What's the point if you do receive your phone on the 16th. Make the argument that You will not receive your phone until October but could that be because everyone preorder at the same time. Maybe preorder should be in stages or maybe someone can come up with a better idea. Something to don while we wait for our phones to ship. Well I'm.... not mine. Mines will be here tomorrow. I preordered. But the majority of everybody else.
This is so ********, ordered before the official pre-order open and immediately giving the October delivery dates, no change since then, charged credit card and drop the charge a few days ago and then no more movement. Not again with the god damn ATT.
Was going to order black but changed my mind at the last second and I'm glad I did.
