Seems like quite a few in this situation. Unfortunately no one has posted theirs has moved to shipped front the ones over the last few hours. Hope this does indicate a real backorder
I am not even mad at AT&T anymore, they said as soon as I ordered 9/23-9/30 ship date. Never once said I would have it on launch day

got mine today, i'm 45 mins north of Austin. my phone actually left from Austin this morning at 7:48am and was delivered to the house around 2pm

i'm just due north of you in the Temple/Belton area. preordered 0258 on 09.09 and original shipping notification was for 09.23-09.30. shipped thursday, scheduled for delivery yesterday by noon but that deadline was missed. got here, from Austin, today at 2pm
What's weird (at least to me) is that on my order status page it hasn't updated. It only shows backordered when you dial in. Was it like that for the people that ended up getting a shipment afterwards? Anybody know?

I'm in NC and I've seen no movement on my order since 3 am on the first day of preorders and i haven't particularly noticed many other southeast shipments at this point. Starting to feel discouraged..
I'm in Missouri. I ordered jet black 7+ at 3:00am est. status has t moved from preparing to ship, estimated ship date of 9/30 thur 10/6.

I wanted the premium GT with black leather and stealth black exterior. When I bought the car, I would of had to wait 12 weeks for one and I wasn't prepared to wait. The updated axle/brembo's/wheels are sweet though. Now that I have it I wish I had waited.
I planned on putting PP wheels on it, but I'll wait until I need new tires. I do have the Pirelli's for sure though.
As much as I love the car, my 30th birthday present to myself in 2 years is either going to be a GT350R or a GT500 (if it re releases next year like its rumored to) so I might just leave it stock.
Oh and **** AT&T/Apple right now. So over it.

well, as of right now on Flightaware iPhone tracker, 11 planes coming in over the next 16 hours from China, then Anchorage, then Louisville, likely loaded for iPhones, as some will be heading to DFW distribution center. So I would think quite a few updates tomorrow.....including mine, and hopefully all of yours.

same phone as you. mine went to back order earlier today. status online still says preparing to ship. 9/23 window.

Hm, good to know. I initially ordered via Apple at 3am but got an October ship window. So I ended up cancelling and ordering via ATT. Order went through at 7:15am on 9/9.
Window has shown 9/23 - 9/30 ship. Been stuck on "preparing" since 9/9. Hope to get some movement soon!

There were 2 free iPhone offers: order or purchase an iphone 7 by sept 30th and trade in an iphone 6/6plus, 6s/6s plus to get the free iphone, or the second one was if you have existing tv service from att all you had to do was port in a number and order an iphone by 9/15 and you got a free phone (no trade-in required). There is also a switcher offer but that's a little different.

I feel you. Both phones I ordered have been "preparing to ship" for days. I'm not mad, though I am salty. My 6s+ is still working just fine, but I do feel like it was a complete waste to wake up to preorder. I have back problems and take some pretty heavy meds at night, so getting up and focusing was no easy task. I knew I should have ordered from Apple.
I did read someone say that if you are a premier customer, you can't order through Apple. Is that true? Because I am premier, but only because we get a discount through my husband's employer. They don't buy the phone for us or anything.
So..........I just called the idiots at AT&T customer service. I'd already talked to retention earlier tonight (and was apparently lied to about them not being able to fix this ****)....this time, I asked to talk to "ecom" and they apparently lied to me too.
I told them what you posted and they denied being able to make MY shipment happen. I kept telling the guy I wanted an explanation of why they could do it for you and not me. Guy said they couldn't do it. I basically told him I didn't believe him and AGAIN that I didn't appreciate it that others that ordered exactly the same phone I did through AT&T's website and/or at the store AFTER I did either have received theirs or have tracking for delivery Monday. Guy still denied they could make this right.
I told them I wanted to talk to his supervisor. He said they were busy. I told him I was prepared to wait until hell freezes over to talk to them, if necessary.
After a couple of rounds of that, then this idiot tried to tell me they could only fix orders for people who "thought" they placed their order but that "didn't get processed correctly"...WTF THAT means...THOSE are who he said they could move up to the front of the line.
I am so f***ing done with AT&T. As soon as possible, I'm moving over to Verizon and have them buy out this stupid *** AT&T contract. Bunch of *** **** ***holes.....liars, all of them. Such bull****.
Oh, and why Verizon? 1. Better coverage and 2. my buddy ordered his on their website AFTER I ordered mine on att.com and HIS WILL BE DELIVERED MONDAY -- already got his tracking number Friday. His is a 7+ MB 256GB, so yeah....f*** AT&T.

I ordered at 5:02 am est with a shipping date of 9/23-9/30. Wasn't able to order right at midnight due to att premier website being down for maintanence. I still had to pay my last installment, I totally forgot to do that before hand. Last year att waived my last payment to preorder the iPhone and I thought it was going to happen this year but it didn't.
